We all know how Everton like to have their tummy tickled by Liverpool and tomorrow will be no different.

I'm going for a comfortable 5-1 for Liverpool.
Liverpool might even get 6 such is the mental hold they have over their local opponents.

Predictions ?

The most one sided game in the history of football. Liverpool could play their under 8's team and still end up beating Everton's first team

Liverpool will win by so many goals that the likes of Calvert-Lewin and Sigurdsson will legit burst into tears at the final whistle.

The Merseyside Massacre they'll come to call it.

How did they go from 2-0 down to 2-1 up
Lengthy VAR delay caused by David Coote, for no reason at all he includes an etcha sketch, 3 different coloured lengths of string and a subbuteo table to eventually rule a goal out.

It gets reinstated by the 81st minute, at which point Klopp grinds his teeth into a fine dust which leaves him frothing at the mouth like a rabid dog for the rest of the game.

Exactly this.

Everton show up for 2 games a season, home vs United and away vs United (for some strange reason) costing us league titles and managers and players careers along the way with some hammerings and infuriating comebacks. When they have their local derby they roll over and play dead. A draw at Goodison is probably celebrated as a triumph.

This!
Even when City were shite and United dominating the League they still managed to beat United a couple of times. I am sure I remember Darius Vassel, Anelka, Trevor(?) Sinclair were some of the scorers of City wins.
4 - 0 for Liverpool.

Pretty much happened last season when Curtis Jones scored the winner in Carlo’s first derby IIRC

Genuine question, is there a more pathetically one-sided local rivalry in world football with both teams in the same league.

Year in, year out, Everton lift their skirts up.

3-1. Liverpool score early, looks like an easy win, Everton then equalise in the second half, and then spurn a number of chances to take the lead. Liverpool retake the lead through a deflected goal or dodgy penalty in the 78th minute. And with Everton chasing the game, Liverpool score a third in injury time

It's been 24 games since Everton last beat Liverpool in a game of football. Twenty four.

That's not about to change tomorrow.

Woe is Everton.

I knew their record was bad, but didn't think it was that bad. That is tragic.
