Music What would football matches be like if they were accompanied by a live orchestra?

Imagine a full orchestra doing a score while there's a match, the music getting more tense as the game does. Sad melancholic music when a player gets sent off, chaotic music when there's handbags.

Surely this should happen, it would attract a higher class of people to football matches as well.

Would be ace dude. Love a bit of orchestral emotion innit.

Not quite the same but that film about Zidane. 21st Century summat or other had a good score by Mogwai laid over a footy match. Was really good from memory.

I like this. Football needs to become more high-brow. This is also a good way to keep raising the prices.

I was once high on shrooms and watched some PL match on the telly with classical music playing in the background. It was fecking lit.

Not exactly the same, but Andrea Bocelli singing the CL anthem before the 2009 final was pretty epic. Shame about the result, though.
