Basically Jimmy Krankie buys a knackered 'classic' car. He then gets his boyfriend to fix it up then they flog it again for a profit.

Some profit, they don't factor in labour which is the majority of repair costs. I like the show though.

I watch it. It's interesting for someone who knows feck all about car repair. I wiki'd the show and they have had losses on some of the motors.

I also like that Café Racer show too.

Been going for years , they have bought some sheds but made them look like new.
Like mjs020294 said they dont factor in the labour costs.
The guy who repairs them is really good , he has made cars from some strange stuff.

I hate watching these shows, I hate it that on every "documentary" channel there are hordes of car building/trading/driving/Edwardian living reality shows, some crazy and totally baseless conspiracy/UFO shit and very little substance.

Bump: the Wheeler Dealers crew were filming on my street today. Show airs September, supposedly.
They bought the Lotus Elan from my neighbour about 5 houses down the street.

I talked to the crew as they were packing up but Mike Brewer had left already.
