There needs to be a Ted Lasso spin off where one of the players is a serial killer.

Alfredo Morelos would be one the most unhinged player I've ever seen in Scotland . The easiest man in football to wind up. An absolute mess of a footballer due to his attitude.

Vinnie "The Bucher" Jones stands tall among the dirtiest players in football history.

As horrible and deranged as that is, there is also something innately hilarious about a shot to the nuts.
Its pretty legendry tbh. He could always claim ignorance about the player behind him.

Who was the player that punched his team mates for hugging him or touching him a few times , think it might have been an Inter or Roma player?

Joey Barton. Confirmed it for me when he went after the entire City squad after being sent off playing for QPR

If we're including managers, surely it's got to be Klopp. Skeletons in his closet, no question about that.

Does George Best qualify? I mean he once flirted with girls during throw ins / corners

Vinnie Jones was a dirty bastard but he was far from unhinged. He successfully cultivated a "hardman" image to compensate for, let's face it, limited footballing ability, which helped him forge a career at a higher level than his skills merited.

It also set him up for a fairly successful movie career post-football.

That doesn't sound "unhinged" to me!

Within our squad ... Probably Bruno (brilliant chance creator that he is aside) can be a bit unhinged in certain things he randomly decides to do on the pitch at times. His head just seems to be everywhere sometimes.

Yes
Here's a great summary (links are most likely outdated, i apologise for the horrible formatting, can't figure out what's where on my phone)

From
https://www.reddit.com/r/soccer/s/TqVg7zbzYP

"Son is the nicest guy. It was the other guy's fault when he [kungfu kicked his team mate]() in training at HSV, or when he [got sent off for kicking ]() at Leverkusen, or when [he kicked a Marseille player](), or when [he kicked a Qatari player](). It was fine for him to [retaliate kick Barzagli]() because he stepped on Son's thigh first, and when he [jump kicked]() against Liverpool it was just a clumsy late challenge. When he [broke someone's ankle]() and cried it was a terrible accident. [Son isn't the type of guy]() to be violent, dirty or reckless on purpose. Really, he's the nicest guy, or when he kicked gomes knee height on purpose because he had tackled him just before"

He has major temper problems and hurts people out of frustration, then cries crocodile tears for sympathy.

Adrian Mutu deserves an (un) honourable mention.
Banned for his use of cocain and sucking the blood of a porn star. Eat your heart out Suarez.

Not sure about unhinged, but Haaland looks to me like someone who doesn‘t have all horses in the stable

Would've said this about Richarlison too, but his recent comments have shed some light on his situation. They're both moderately unhinged though.

Thinking back Alfredo Morelos has to be up near the top of the list. A walking/waddling red card
