He's no Bilal Ilyas Jhandir
Yes in my opinion.
Do their fans want to throw the game? Yes. For obvious reasons.
Does Klopp want to throw the game? He's a sore loser so probably not. But here's the thing. Klopp might be a clown but he knows his football. He's well aware that his team has peaked and that it's only downwards from here. He's also well aware that United only are a couple of missing pieces away from challenging. One of those pieces is Sancho. United missing out on CL would probably put the Sancho deal on hold for another year, meaning Klopp will be able to delay the inevitable crosspoint for another season.
Do their players want to throw the game? Before the Arsenal game I would have said no because they'd want the points record. But just like all the other records they were supposed to break they bottled that one too. Still think most of them would try to win because they're big money foreign signings with minimal connection to scouseland. The last time they threw a game vs Chelsea they had a scouse backbone with Slippy G and Spitty C. That local influence has more or less disappeared now that they've become a buying club. But nonetheless, throwing a game doesn't necessarily require a collective effort. All you need is one bad apple.
Who will be playing the role of Gerrard on Wednesday? My money is on either TAA or Robertson.
