Personally, I really disliked a few of the Nike kits we had:

I was having a look through the different versions there to check the years if the ones I didn't like.

Has there ever been a Home/Away combo as good as the 1994-96 set?

I can’t stand that first one (the Michael Owen picture). I hated it then, and hate it now. Definitely one of the worst ever. Of course, like a sucker, I still bought one.

The gingham one looked pretty good on the pitch, I thought. For some reason, it reminds me of Kagawa.

This was my first United Shirt.

Interestingly it was 2 shirts in one, If you turned the shirt inside out it would become the white away kit and if you turned that inside out it would become this gold kit the 3rd strip.

umbro sewed two shirts together basically
Yep I had it . It was really heavy and I never wore the gold side

It's the worst United kit during the PL era, no question. Even the infamous gray kit of the mid 90s had a bit of manliness to it.

yuup sweaty shirt.

Still though what a mad idea that was to sew the 2nd and 3rd strip together

Look at the kit launch, the players look confused

It has to be the Grey one from 95/96. It cost me 50 quid and was dumped after 45 minutes. I didn't even get a pound per minute out of it.
 glad I wasn't the only one! As an 8 year old kid I completed the whole kit and then a week later Southampton happened :(

GTFO. i loved Cantona with the popped up collar, so much swag

One of the best... this is from 1994-95, 1995-95... this is swagger.

but the 1996-97 Kit I originally posted was one of the worst home kits I can remember.

Perhaps if I had picked a different player, it might job your memory.

This 'retro' shirt is pretty crap
Was just looking at that earlier. It is pretty crap as you said, missed opportunity I feel with the badge they could have went for an old school United badge as the top is clearly trying to go for a 50's 60's type feel (I think so anyway ).

That site also mentioned that United might have a pink away kit next season.

To be completely fair, all kits from that time have that daddy shirt cutting.

But Feck off, that's a majestic kit for Cantona and Cantona only.
I remember at the time there were rumours that United were going to release a kit with no collars and then just have a customised kit with a collar for just Cantona to wear.

Great for players with big biceps. Unless it's on Matic:

HORRENDOUS
Matic even from his Chelsea days wears a really loose shirt for some reason. This shirt hes wearing in the pic clearly looks like a XXL

maybe he wants refs to see when his shirts being tugged
