OGS equalizer in that 1-1 draw away to bolton...United just didnt give up...was one of the worst united performance i have ever seen...yet the determination still shone thru.

The save by Barthez in the last min at Highbury. That alone won us the championship.

Apart from that as I said at the time, the wins over our main title rivals like Liverpool, Newcastle, Arsenal.

We showed that day that we deserved the title, and we played them off the park. fergie coming on at the end knew the title was on the way to being won !!

I'd just got back to England and went in a pub in Kent that was packed out with gooners. I was just sat there watching the game when RVN put a shot just wide and this girl said "Has he been at the Ryan Giggs school of finishing, that was almost as bad as that sitter Giggs missed against us in the FA Cup".

I couldn't stay quiet so I asked if she'd meant the time in the FA Cup when Giggs had taken it past half their team and scored to knock them out of the cup, and she said "You facking twat" - nice!

Many Arse fans on Mars? ;)

4-0 against the scousers was pretty sweet, treasure it.

The demolition of Newcaslte 'undefeated at SJP since september' United was unbelieveable. Declared our intent.

Ole's equalising volley at St James' Park against Newcastle - United had just suffered a 1-3 European set-back at Real, & were 0-1 down against Newcastle & facing a possible double whammy which cud have ended their season that day.

But Ole came to United's rescue with a superb volley on the turn from a great Giggs chip - a goal out of nothing & from then on, there was no turning back for Utd on that day & for the rest of the season!

His exquisite one-two with Scholes a few minutes later led to a 2-1 lead & opened the floodgates to a 6-2 massacre.

Newcastle never recovered from that & Utd overtook Arsenal in the very next match, & never looked back!

If Ole had not equalised......

There're many moments of the season for our team but would select the top few moments including one from Arsenal (also crucial for us).
1. Forlan's goal from Veron against Chelsea.
2. Giggs equalising goal against Arsenal when we were 2-1 down.
3. Rudd's individual run from centre of the field to score against Fulham.
4. Scholes hatrick against Newcastle and Rudd's securing 3 points for us against Charlton with his hatrick.
5. Silvestre crucial strike against Leeds at Old Trafford from Beckham's free-kick.
The next one (pls see 6.) is also crucial to us (had Henry scored this one against Leeds, then it'll be 3-2 to Arsenal then.
6. Henry's effort from the left side of midfield beating Robinson but hit the post somewhere in the 75th minute, then the score was 2-2 before Viduka put the final nail in the 88th minute - Final score: Leeds 3 - Arsenal 2
(which has given us the championship before our final match against Everton).

:D

There are so many:

Diego vs Southampton after scoring the winner, tracking back with no shirt on!
Ruud's incredible goal at Basle
The last few minutes vs Everton at home
2-1 at Anfield, 4-0 at OT, six points off the Scousers
Astonishing football to win 6-2 at St James' Park

But if I have to choose one, it's Phil poleaxing Vierra. Not often that a tackle wins moment of the season but that was a defining moment for me, showed the strenth and determination of our squad, showed we were never gonna give up, which is what won us the league

P.Nevs tackle on Viera at OT, Really shown that even though we had so many key players out, we still had that spirit.

Well Done Phil.
