Rogue one is now my favourite Star Wars movie. Andor only makes it even better but Vader mowing down the rebels at the end is goosebumptown every time.

I recently watched the Aliens Directors Cut and I was taken back by how poor the cinematography and the lighting of certain scenes was.
It was startlingly to see how cheap it looked at times.
Also, I strongly prefer the theatrical cut.
Much tighter, the pacing is better and, because of that, you get a greater sense of the urgency and tension.
And the sentry gun scene just lessons the threat of the Xeno. They're like cannon fodder.

Totally agree. Sometimes stuff stays on the cutting room floor for a reason.
I used to hold Aliens up as almost as good as the first when I was younger but it has dated a bit now and sits more comfortably with the rest of the 80’s action films rather than its predecessor. Almost like the two films were made by different directors.

But I've been catching up on a lot of films over the last couple of years, and there were others that I've always loved, so for now I'd probably go as a Top 5...

An underrated gem, loved this so much when I was growing up.

Re-watched the Dark Knight trilogy in 4k and it's just brilliant. The Batman Begins was a really good portrayal to introduce the series, think it's somewhat underrated among the three installments.
