Hard to choose to be honest. Players I looked up to for different reasons.

In my lifetime:
Number one will always be Ronaldo. No one like him.
And then in no particular order: Lee Sharpe, Juan Mata, Robin Van Persie and Van Der Sar.

Honorable mentions to Beckham, Hernandez, Hughes, RvN and Brian McClair.

1. Cantona
2. Scholes
3. Pallister
4. Solskjaer
5. Keane

Giggs had a place on the list, but I feel he might lost it based on Uniteds performance when he joined the staff.. I'd consider Zlatan on my list, but I know that's just a fling.

The more I thought about it, even though Sir Bobby makes my top 5 I've got to admit there is more admiration in there than anything else. With the top 3 it was just a matter of pure unadulterated joy watching them play.

Honourable mentions to Smikes, Hernandez, Gerry Daly and Nobby.

Cantona, Beckham, Ronaldo, Rooney and Schmeichel I think..

Absolutely worshipped Rooney when he came here. Was obsessed with him.. how things change :(.

This is hard. I went with those I felt a weird emotional attachment to:

Giggs
Beckham
Evra
Rio
De Gea

Struggled with leaving Ruud, RvP, and Scholes out :(

(It was very hard to leave Best, Charlton, Robson, Hughes, Vidic & Ferdinand out)

I know everyone is entitled to their own opinion but how does Ronaldo get twice as many mentions as Rooney, I mean one complained he was treated like a slave here and the other has 250 goals.

Honorable mentions to De Gea, Rio, Sparky, McGrath, Keane, Rafael, Ruud and Berbatov

edit: and Anderson, seriously.
edit 2: forgot about Becks!

But I can't post this list without mentioning Charlton and Best, I've watched so many footage just for them  Law wasn't half bad either, and I quite liked Paddy if we're talking about less obvious names

Must be Ferdinand, been my favourite since he signed for us in 2002. Rooney used to be.

Ferdinand
Scholes
Giggs
Cole
Yorke

But almost impossible, could have said Vidic, Irwin, Keane, Carrick, Beckham, Stam too. Zlatan and Pogba been here too short but they would be up there also.
