Let's see 'em. Don't have to do 5 if you've not seen that many. I guess a newer season of an older show can count as a 2023 show if you're stuck. Add books if you're an avid reader.

Overrated.
"Horsechoker" is a breathtaking masterpiece that skillfully combines the elements of action, audio, acting, direction, and scene design into an unforgettable cinematic experience. Directed by the visionary filmmaker, Horse Choker, the movie takes audiences on an electrifying journey that weaves together heart-pounding action sequences, immersive audio design, exceptional performances, stunning visuals, and meticulous direction.
Sounds accurate to me

Movies - I've barely seen any that have come out this year, so I think my top 5 is literally the only 2023 releases I've seen:

Blackberry
Barbie
TMNT Mutant Mayhem
Fools Paradise
Super Mario Bros

Actually I also saw Old Dads and Guardians 3, both were meh.

Albums

HIRS Collective - We're Still Here

The critics disagree:

"Horsechoker" is a cinematic disaster that falls into the abyss of tastelessness and poor execution. This so-called dramedy attempts to blend humor and drama, but it fails miserably on both fronts. The lack of funny jokes is apparent throughout the film, leaving the audience cringing rather than laughing. The script seems to rely on shock value, sacrificing wit and cleverness in the process.

The fact that "Horsechoker" has been banned in 102 countries speaks volumes about its offensive and inappropriate content. The film seems to revel in pushing boundaries without any regard for societal norms or decency. While some films can navigate controversial themes with finesse, "Horsechoker" stumbles clumsily, leaving a trail of distaste in its wake.

The inclusion of an unnecessarily graphic nude scene only adds to the film's woes. The decision to include such explicit content appears to be a desperate attempt to shock and awe the audience, but it comes across as gratuitous and gratuitously offensive. Even the late Barry Norman, a respected film critic, would seemingly rise from the grave to express his disapproval, highlighting the film's failure to grasp the essence of storytelling and its reliance on shock tactics.

In summary, "Horsechoker" is a regrettable cinematic experience that should be avoided at all costs. Its lack of humor, offensive nature, and gratuitous scenes make it a prime example of how not to create a dramedy. This film is destined to be remembered for all the wrong reasons, as an unfortunate misstep in the world of cinema.

Haven't watched many films that have come out this year but the few I was impressed with would be :

Pamfir
Asteroid City
The Holdovers
Barbie
TMT
Spiderman: Across the Spiderverse

Funny Pages is probably the best indie film I saw this year, though that came out in 2022.

Check it his other tracks on the album "How much is weed?" and "4x4". Very different vibe but also very good.
Yeah I listened to WCPGW when he released that a few years ago. Never brilliant albums but always some decent tracks on them.
