If we can get 7 points from the next 3 games then I think we'll be fine. City have to go to Newcastle which will be a tough game as you know they'll be going all out for fourth. We've got Nani back which could be a big bonus in these last few games.

If we feck this up I won't feel sorry for them. I'll go into hiding for a few months maybe. It's in our hands and I would have taken that a couple of months ago, especially after the mauling we had at OT to the Plastics.

Yep, but momentum is a big factor. City hitting serious form, we're looking rather shit.

We always react well to defeats though.

Villa at home is probably the nicest fixture to have after a loss... we need to bounce back and bounce back well.

This goal difference is getting big.

By the time the derby comes around there'll be 3 points in it.

City will walk their next game (WBA isn't it?) and I reckon we'll get 1 win and 1 draw from our next 2 games.

We just have to win tomorrow.

The performance and attitude of the players was very worrying on Wednesday. You can't win every game, but the players just didn't seem bothered at all and that is what worries me more than anything.

I feel the same. In a way this should be the final wake up call for our players. Man City seem to be back to their ominous best and we can't allow ourselves to fall into the comfort zone again. It ain't over yet and if we don't show the right attitude we will be caught.

Squeaky bum time indeed.

Already did that, only cos WBA dropped half their team, PRICKS.

Pressure is on.... Need to take some breathing space to the Etihad. Goal difference is going to be difficult to make up. SAF and the most the players have been in this position many time before the experiance will be key.

If we go into the Derby 5 points ahead I'd be pretty happy but we'd need to avoid defeat there. A defeat and we're just 2 ahead with a tricky final day game at Sunderland.

No room for error in any games now, apart from just not losing against city. Just makes it more annoying that we lost to fecking wigan.

As said, City only have to pick them up for five games (hard ones or not) and with their players they''re capable of it. We gave them the perfect boost to give it one last try... and try they will it seems.

If they win all their remaining games, we can not afford to draw even once, seeing how they are now racking up their goal difference. The Wigan result was huge, one draw away from it being in their hands again.

I'm pleased we're playing Villa and Everton. Less chance of complacency. I would be more worried if we had a piss easy fixture at home. We rise to a challenge.

Wigan performance was a disgrace really; completely gutless.

Momentum feels like it has shifted a little this week.

You just know United will put us through the mill tomorrow.

When is it ever decided by GD. It'll be decided by points.

If it's 1-0 tomorrow to us, then so be it. We'll be the ones 5 points clear.
If we go in to the City game five points clear but we get beat, it's a two point gap with two to play. With us going to Sunderland on the final day, I can honestly see us sodding it up there.

It's just a gut feeling, but I feel as though City are going to win it.

Absolutely. Goal difference is not going to decide the title.

A 1-0 win in all of our remaining games and we are champions regardless of how many goals City score.

Not nervous, it happens so many time. One team takes a big lead. Everyone says title is over. Then they slip up and make the league interesting only to later beat the other team.

Barcelona did few years ago, later they defeated madrid. United did last year. I reckon united and madrid will repeat that this year. Well they will atleast draw the derbies, mark my words.

Even a draw against fecking Wigan would not have been bad. Now there's no room for any more mistake from the players.

That's just nerves, settle my friend.

We've been here in this position so many times. We know how to handle it. Look on the bright side - we now play twice before City play again. Both our games are at home. We win both, we're 8 points clear before City kick a ball again :D

Hmmm...actually that is rather a nice way of looking at it...:)

I reckon tomorrow will be a very nervous game. We'll win it...but I don't think its going to be pretty!! However, thank the lord Scholes will be back.
