FFP is not about the sugar daddy clubs despite what the media may say and even despite what FIFA may say. There are small clubs on the brink of bankruptcy in Spain, England, Italy and others that need these regulations to seek a more sustainable business strategy, it's about them first and foremost. FIFA just saw a chance to start a PR campaign about how they're going to tackle a big issue when really they knew the billionaires would do as they please.Did the FFP regulators said they would investigate every major sponsorship so no sugar daddy's could use this tactic?
Anyway, as was suspected since the beginning, FFP will mean feck all unfortunately. City, Chelsea, PSG will find various ways to pass this.
it was a PR stunt anyway, come on, you can't tell me you honestly thought FFP was for real? surely you aren't that stupid?mon dieu were is Platini? Why has he gone silent? Could it be the case that the fact that his son is working with PSG had made him rethink things?
feck all.We will have to see what UEFA say when the first FFP compliance reports come out.
It hasn't come out yet! They were pretty harsh on the clubs who failed to pay their transfer fees on time.feck all.
lol, yeah, let's wait and see, I am sure it will not have any dodgy stuff at all and not be at all obvious that the whole thing was just a PR stunt. It hasn't come out yet! They were pretty harsh on the clubs who failed to pay their transfer fees on time.
There is no need to get your panties in a bunch just yet, there were always going to be clubs who would try to manipulate the rules, lets wait to see if they actually do something when they publish the compliance reports.
Like I said, I see little point in getting upset about something that hasn't happened yet.lol, yeah, let's wait and see, I am sure it will not have any dodgy stuff at all and not be at all obvious that the whole thing was just a PR stunt.
okay, when UEFA do feck all I will bump this to remind you about that though.Like I said, I see little point in getting upset about something that hasn't happened yet.
Or to act like an arrogant, know-it-all tool about it either.Like I said, I see little point in getting upset about something that hasn't happened yet.
It will be looked into but I doubt anything will be done about it.FFP hasn't just died.
This is one move that will be looked into. Chelsea are reporting profits now, so they won't need something like this.
If it's designed to help clubs who spent beyond their means and are in financial trouble then the only way to do so is to stop these sugar daddy clubs from doing what they're doing. The reason they're spending so much is in order to compete. If they didn't care about competing then they'd simply cut their costs accordingly. FFP rules aren't going to help them in any way.FFP is not about the sugar daddy clubs despite what the media may say and even despite what FIFA may say. Dunno but the UAE has a much higher GDP than Qatar. Are PSG richer than city?
Wasn't that couple of millions profit, before they even splashed tens of millions on transfers? Next balance will show differents, but more familiar, figures.FFP hasn't just died.

Thanks for that. Anyway, as I said, Big Ones will always find a way to don't give a shit.FFP is not about the sugar daddy clubs despite what the media may say and even despite what FIFA may say. I do believe the society as a whole benefits from sugar daddies, as fresh capital are brought into the monetary system of football.I think some people are missing a very important factor here - other clubs. 90% of clubs want FFP. Most of the large clubs like United, Arsenal, Chelsea, Barca, Milan and Bayern Munich all support this through the Europan Clubs Assoc. UEFA will be under immense pressure from these other clubs to hit the worst offenders (City and PSG) hard.
How would it have prevented Rangers from going bankrupt? Or anybody else for that matter? This!
I really don't get why all fans go mental about these rules. No one around who thinks that these rules would have prevented the Glasgow Rangers from going bankrupt? So what, of course investors will find some loopholes, it's still way more difficult than before for them to push a small club to the top.
Abu Dhabi (City) are comfortably richer that Qatar (PSG) in terms of absolute money. However this is kinda irrelevant in football terms. They can comfortably match each others spending, which no one else not backed by oil money can match. Are PSG richer than city?
Not exactly true. Qatar's GDP is 182 billion, while UAE's GDP is 258 billion. In 2008 Abu Dhabi generated 56% of UAE's entire GDP. If this was the same in last year that would mean that Abu Dhabi's GDP is 144 billion which is about 20% lower than Qatar's GDP.Abu Dhabi (City) are comfortably richer that Qatar (PSG) in terms of absolute money. Nope. That includes their summer transfers.Wasn't that couple of millions profit, before they even splashed tens of millions on transfers? Next balance will show differents, but more familiar, figures.
Are you sure? I think that the accounting period ended in June.Nope. That includes their summer transfers.
I'm sure it included most of them. Are you sure? I think that the accounting period ended in June.
