Thing is sometimes I feel that nani gets treated to a harsher standard because of his talent rather than his actual contribution. I don't think nani has ever had a period since we could expect him to play better where he has been as concistently poor as Valencia this season. Like I've said before Valencia had his best season for us last year and nani was supposedly average yet they had also identical overall contributions.
Looking at those stats lists posted it shows he's usually done the business despite all this talk of him not contributing enough. I think it's more with his talent he could do more but he's still producing as well as anyone in his position. It's important to remember that from the list, Lennon, nani and Valencia play a more restricted roles as part of a 442 rather than having as much attacking freedom as the likes if silva, mata etc, even young at villa was often higher up the pitch.
