I am at a loss here. What did Summit do?

Not much. The first part of the tweet has now been deleted by @MUFCoFFICIAL. He was dropping @Greame Baileys name into tweets saying he's his mate etc...I just found funny that Greame showed the lying fecker up.

That's pretty funny. Shame there's no longer a record of the initial tweet(s) by that account.

I like the new embedding tweets feature when I am surfing from my phone or laptop. It's a real pain when accessing the caf from the work computer though as all I see is

United are willing to accept £17m buyout clause if Thiago doesn't play enough at OT, he is now closer to joining the English club. [sport]

Should the buy out fee not be at least what we paid for him, if this is indeed true? If the figures being bandied around are correct, we'd lose on the deal if we didn't play him enough. Seems odd if so.

Of course, we could negate it by playing him, and possibly renegotiate when he can see he's getting the playing time he wants.

It's the same buy out clause I think, or around the same. His current one is around £15mil, or €18 mil. It seems like a pointless clause for us whatever the case because he's coming here to be a starter, and not a bench player. If he doesn't get the required amount of minutes then he'd have probably been a failure and we'd be pretty happy to get 17 million for him I think.

#Spurs source: Paulinho is 95% done & waiting for paperwork to be completed, medical is booked. #THFC

@indykaila Is your Spurs source only 95% at the press conference where the deal was just confirmed by Corinthians' director?

Yeah I get that in work too. Think it's because Twitter will be blocked on your work server.

Barcelona resigned to losing Thiago now Manchester United agreed to meet buy out clause. Potentially medical as early as next week.

Is any part of that tweet especially difficult to fabricate and yet seem plausible? No.

Barcelona agree to a buy-out clause that currently is not that much, therefore clubs will be interested so there is no revelation that Barcelona may be resigned to losing Thiago.

The world knows United is interested, even if nothing has come from the club.

And as for the "medical", well given that it is Tuesday today, and Thiago may still be on holiday, then obviously the earliest possible date would be next week!

It's all unsubstantiated shit, but clearly very likely to happen!

As early as next week? The word "early" must have a different meaning in Fairthorne's world.

Okay so through Twitter today I have heard:

Thiago - off.
Strootman - off.
Garay - off.

And that one guy who says a Thiago medical next week.. Hmm.. Might want to get that sorted earlier with the team fecking off out of England next Wednesday, dear.
