They deserved to go through in the end.

And they have considerably less cnuts than Inter, so hopefully Bayern will get the job done, although I doubt they will.
Have a word with yourself, we mauled them and anyone condoning behaviour like this is an amateur. Shit like that can spark riots.

I hope Inter hammer them.

Excuse me, I'm relaxed
Yeah, that make two odious, cocksure twats up against each other in the final. It's gonna be horrible to watch. One of those games where you want both teams to lose.
On the other hand, it's going to be an absolute joy watching one of them lose. Can't wait...

Van Gaal has always struck me as being a bit of a nasty bit of work, which makes losing out to him in Europe even harder to swallow...

No, he's Deutsch.
No, he's Dutch.

Have a read of my post again, I never condoned Van Gaals behaviour there.

Have a word with yourself, for all the mauling, we still couldn't get through. We turned up for 45 mins of the two legs.

The RAWK like bitterness here when Utd lose to someone is unbelieveable. So much whinging and bitching. Its not often we lose, you'd think we'd be able to be a bit gracious about it when it does happen.

Germans, how's van Gaals german?

This made me think of Trappatoni's legendary presse conference when he was at Bayern, that was the shit.

Good luck to him. He has really turned it around for them after a few torrid years for Bayen. Liverpool should take note that there is a long hard road back after non qualification for the CL. But they need a classy manager.

Why would anyone want Inter to win?

Managed by Mourinho, racist, thuggish fans (Interista excluded), anti-football and a bunch of cheats in their team.

Bayern have their fair share of dicks in their team, but it's still considerably less than Inter. And they're a well run club and they have great fans.

In a perfect world, they'd both lose. But I don't see how anyone could take any joy from an Inter win in the CL final.
First of all, Vuc is spot-on as always :D

I don't get why Inter fans have to be considered racist and thuggish, unless you had a bad experience with them under this point of view. Some time ago there was a thread on here about the political stances of Italian ultras, I wrote that as far as I know, most of them are right-wing. I can assure you that Juve and above all Roma, Lazio, Napoli fans are much worse racist thugs than Inter. Then every set of fans has their share of dickheads.

Free to dislike Mourinho but claiming that we're anti-football is ridiculous, there was no other way to face Barça in those conditions (down to 10 men and without an instrumental player like Pandev), I still have to read a detailed post from those who criticized our tactics at the Camp Nou, about how they would have set the team up in Mourinho's place. In my opinion the only alternative was fielding Balotelli and fed him long balls on the counter but I don't blame our manager for not trusting him after what we did in the 1st leg, moreover you couldn't have expected by Mario the same workrate of Milito and Eto'o, who almost acted like added defenders.

Considering what was at stake, the 1st Champions League final in 38 years, I think Mourinho got all his tactics spot-on and brilliantly did anything possible to reach this achievement. In the 1st leg we offered entertaining football in some spells and the fact we're the only team that put 3 goals past Guardiola's Barcelona and that successfully kept Messi at bay for two consecutive games should be mentioned. In general, we're not an attack-minded team nor a worse version of the 2004 Greece team.

It's hardly a 'love-in', just some people prefer Mourinho and admire what he's achieved in such a short amount of time (For example, he can equal Fergie's CL haul, despite still having 22 years on him, and both victories coming with smaller clubs who had been given no chance).

It being called a 'love-in' by the anti-Mourinho crowd is beyond boring.

Explain yourself you big proud gay!
Imagine if Rafa had won the League and then addressed a crowd of scousers, taunting the people of Manchester United and Chelsea ... and going on to suggest they would conquer Europe before a ball had been kicked....I'd like to think you'd deem him an ungracious twat...I certainly would.
Im not gay you pleb.

But anyway no I wouldnt mind if Rafa did that, id be annoyed sure but its just banter and if Liverpool won the league then Rafa would have earned the right for a few taunts to come our way.

Imagine fergie addressing manchester after winning the league, on course to the treble, winding up the whole country. "we are champions.....of manchester, and not only that but of liverpool, and of london, of england, and we will possibly conquer europe".
It looks like a Hitler speech

Rummenigge to Schweinsteiger at 1:35 - "He's pissed up out of his mind".

Hitler is banned in Israel ? It's not like his speeches are going to convert anyone.

The Hitler video posted earlier in the thread is basically one of his stock speeches where he's whipping the masses into a fervor.

I thought the same.

Bumping this thread since there's no official Louis van Gaal thread in the mains.

That looks like a recurrent pattern since I also found this after AZ won the Eredivisie the year before:

Just get this guy on board already! :D I would love to hear that kind of speech should he win big at United; he also knows how to party as well.

I'd fear for Cleverley, Fellaini and Ashley Young's safety if they pull some of the performances they did this season with Van Gaal in charge.

Van Gaal may as well as to show his balls again if necessary to show who's the boss in town.

When you said "worried for Cleverley, Fellaini and Ashley Young's safety", I wonder if the following came into your mind:

Jokes aside, I agree those players would be more than likely to live hell under Van Gaal. Still, it's sometimes necessary to have a guy like that in order to push some players beyond their current limits or precipitate their move out of the club in favour of players who want and can play modern football.

Mourinho is a saint when compared to Van Gaal.

To your left.
Hitler ruined German public speaking. You could say "Good Morning. Today we will all have pink frosted doughnuts" in German in front of a crowd and it will sound threatening.

To be fair, any speech in German in a victorious mood and setting before hundreds of thousands of celebrating audience would sound like Hitler, would it.... especially if you don't understand the language. There's nothing wrong with his passionate speech really :)

As I posted above, Van Gaal has quite the habit of including other cities in his victory rally speeches. It would be quite something if he ever does that after winning big at United. :D

He knows how to party when it comes to it as well.

Glasgow resident these days.
I can't for one second think a United official met with him whilst we still have a manager in charge.
It would be massively unprofessional and surely not risked due to press getting a photo. It's absolute crap, but will give many on here a false dawn.
Sooner he signs for Spurs the better.
