I honestly don't see the hype surrounding him, he'll turn out to be a good player but he'll never justify a price tag being thrown around for him.

Verratti has all the tools to be the next Pirlo/Xavi/Scholes I'd pay anything for him.
Barkley has all the physical tools to be a game winner. He's fast, strong with good ball control, good vision and plays with his head up. He also has the attitude - that fearlessness that the better players usually have.

The last young PL players who could take a game by the scruff of the neck like that I can recall were Rooney and Bale.

You never know what's going to happen and nothing is guaranteed but I personally think he's going to be a star.

Verratti looks a real talent but is a totally different player, although no less useful.

I just can't see Barkley ever making the move to central midfield. His strengths just scream that he will always be best utilised behind the striker, similar to Powell, just a lot better.

This place complained when we went public with our transfer business last year. It seems we have learned our lesson, but still they complain.
Indeed.

Just like how Fellaini was a waste of money and "not United quality" but trying to sign top class players is a "waste of time" and "never going to happen."

Totally agree. He's a 10 long term.

Nobody has a clue what LVG is up to and I kind of like that about the guy. Interesting season ahead.

I agree.

The club are going about this in the right way. People need to be patient before making a judgment.

Twitter is ridiculous for this kind of crap because 99% of it is seemingly completley made up, yet grown men actually believe it. I question the common sense of some people - especially those who seem to think signing a player is like playing a computer game.

Bottom line - the club might not get the players it wants but the window isn't open yet. There is Plenty of time.

Well I have it on very good authority that LvG is in the final stages of preparing his Dutch team for the upcoming World Cup. Not saying I'm itk or anything, but I am.

It's actually frustrating hearing the players we could have signed last summer. Thiago and Garay were basically set up by Fergie only for Moyes to veto them

So we could have signed Thiago, Strootman and Garay geez that's depressing :(

Don't worry guys, Indy is working hard! He "won't miss nothing"

I'm sure that clown started off trying to look legit, but it seems like it's become a parody account somewhere along the way.

He has a tweet saying he was invited on to this years Big Brother, for God sake.

Says on his profile he works for KRFM radio Drive Time. Takes 2 mins for me to go on their website and look at who presents drive time, it's an Indian Ratio station focusing on Religion and Music. He is such an obvious bullshitter I don't get why he gets so much attention?

If Moyes rejected Garay he's an idiot.
From what I remember near enough no one on here wanted him... "Another centre back?" was the response to the rumours that we had him signed up...

Turning his nose up at Thiago is fecking baffling though.

Our squad is more than capable. All we need is a couple of signings, its not like we need a new starting 11.

I do think that United might announce a deal out of the blue in the coming weeks like possibly Pogba. Something that will catch everyone off guard.

So wait, we're not going to spend in case it doesn't work? That guy is so full of it. Any manager can fail so we're not letting any manager spend? Wow. I agree that we should have been competing for 3rd or 4th with what we had last season.

He's obviously speculating and it's clearly rubbish.
