Why is neither team wearing 'home' colours when there would quite clearly be no clash?
Someone posted it earlier:

From reddit regarding the kits;
For each match, the team listed first (on FIFA's website) is designated as the home side.

• Since this match is listed as "Spain v Netherlands", Spain receives first choice of which kit to wear.

• Spain selects all-red.

• Since Holland's Orange clashes with red, Holland must switch to blue.

• But according to the regulations, we now have a case of dark colored kit v dark colored kit.

• With Spain's alternate kit being all-black, FIFA inform Spain and their kit manufacturer (Adidas) that a light colored kit needs to be submitted to comply with FIFA regulations.

• All-white is chosen and will be worn against Holland.

• This means Holland can switch to orange right? Wrong. Orange is deemed to be Holland's light colored kit, so white v orange would mean light kit v light kit.

• For this match, Spain will wear white and Holland will dress in blue.

Because FIFA says Spain's red counts as a dark jersey rather than a light one. Their away jersey is black, so it's also dark.
Spain chose their home jersey which is red, so Holland had to choose their away jersey . But FIFA then argued that 2 dark jerseys can't be used, so Spain actually had to create an alternative third white jersey for this game.

Because you can't play a dark colour vs a dark colour or a light vs a light, FIFA thought Spain's dark red kit and Hollands dark blue kit would watch so Spain had to make a white kit.

This Dutch system is awful. What's the point of playing with wing backs who offer no width. If you're going to play direct through the middle put a 4th player in the middle.

Great goal

I haven't understood LVGs tactics today? Or is this team just too shit to be expecting anything from them?
