Less than before?what a joke! fifa has no balls at all.
he gets punished less that he did before, makes no sense to me.
the fine is nothing for someone getting paid what he does.
i think the only thing that will actually hurt him is the facts he's let uruguay down in this world cup.
i hope some of his team mates have a go at him about this.
although i don't like the guy, i hope nothing bad happens to him if he returns to urugauy now. we all know what happened to that poor columbian goalie all those years ago.
south americans can get really emotional about their national side so there is always a possibility it could get ugly.
if i were him i'd stay away from his homeland.
i heard that the english FA may also be able to punish suarez as well, don't know if thats true or not?
i think he will definitely get sold and never play for liverpool again.
i really hope liverpool fans and the players, old and present, finally have had enough of the guy.
i don't believe the owners of liverpool will want him associated with the club whatsoever. the club has stood by him and now look what has happened.
i'm gonna go look at some liverpool forums now!
And if I remember correctly his ones from Ajax didn't transfer over to here when he moved to Liverpool. He has been banned 34 games since 2010.
True. But surely Liverpool also fear this? I just can't see how a club increasingly reliant on the one player can continue to put up with his behaviour and lengthy bans. He could be the difference between them finishing outside the top four, and crashing out of the CL group stages. For me, he has to be sold to the first willing buyer even if they don't get as much as they would have wanted prior to this incident.Yes but surely they'll know that he's going to do it again and then he will get 6+ months - it might be in the middle of the season too.
Oh, I missed that because of the spoiler.I posted that literally 4 posts back, and with spoiler tags mate
That's nearly whole premier league season, fantasticHe has been banned 34 games since 2010.
To be fair, he was wheeled out off hospital in a wheelchair a few weeks before destroying England. He won't be anywhere near match fit after this you'd assume. No football for 4months is a big amount of time. I reckon he'll be struggling til December/New Year to get match fitness back.
He'll return in November and within 4 months will get himself banned again. Referees will have their eyes on them now and even smaller crimes will be met with grand punishments.True. But surely Liverpool also fear this? I just can't see how a club increasingly reliant on the one player can continue to put up with his behaviour and lengthy bans. He could be the difference between them finishing outside the top four, and crashing out of the CL group stages. I would love for him to appeal so he can play Saturday - as that will only increase the number of games he would miss for Liverpool!Tommy Smyth said that if he appeals he can play during the appeal process so he might be able to play Saturday.
All hail FIFA!
Feck PES.
Are you sure?Friendlies are official matches. They count for ranking points, which will affect the National Team's chances in the World Cup 2018.
1. As a general rule, every match suspension (of players and other persons) is
carried over from one round to the next in the same competition.
They can't stop him from training on his own.All football related activity is pretty vague unless someone can explain this to me. If he's not allowed to train either, then he will surely miss more matches. Does transfer related activity involving him come under this 'football related activity'? I think it should. Am i asking for too much?
From one perspective, it's harsh on Liverpool but remember the reason they got hold of him in the first place on the cheap was due to the biting incident at Ajax. He then followed that up with a second biting against Chelsea so it's not exactly like they weren't aware he was a ticking time bomb. Not at all I just find it weird that Liverpool can't appeal when they are now involved and affected more than before.
So we don't know if he's banned from a transfer?
Sounds to me like it includes transfers, so he can only be transferred in January.A person may be banned from taking part in any kind of football-related
activity (administrative, sports or any other).
I would imagine Suarez takes this to the CAS.
Fifa are making their rules up as they go along.
Ban extended for frivolous appeal?I hope he does. It won't go well for him.
Of course they are, they obviously don't have precedent on someone biting someone for the third fecking time.I would imagine Suarez takes this to the CAS.

Training on his own would drive him mad due to lack of human flesh. So that's all good. They can't stop him from training on his own.
It would appear so.Do FIFA really have the legislation over the national governing bodies to hand out that 4 months ban?
