Kroos just won't play forward... Schürrle had a clear run at goal!

The German fans can say what they want about Khedira but he has been very good for them this game.

You just cannot see Algeria dragging themselves back into it.

Positives= We never bought Ozil.

Spawny fecker, he's no idea what he's doing there, wake up Townsend :lol:
Agreed, Townsend is absolutely exhausting and clueless. Just because a goal has significance does not mean it is necessarily brilliant. The cross takes a deflection and it clips Schurrle's outstretched boot! He has no idea what is going on.

And is there anything more deflating than a goal in the first minute of extra time? Nice one, Germany.

Neuer to score an own goal, just so he can save every Algerian penalty.

Feghouli hasn't actually played that well tonight.

It works if Schweini and Kroos play a more defensive role and allow Khedira to roam. If Khedira is forced into a fixed position he can screw his team since he's out of position quite regularly.

You don't mess with ze Germans. If you find Neuer blocking the road, you stop and go back.

Don't think that's completely fair either. He's had a bad injury and chances are he's still somewhat regaining form. He's a great worker in midfield and he breaks up a lot of plays. He's not a pure anchor man though so that much I agree with.
