Wasn't the IPO roadshow conducted before United realized that Pogba, Morrison, Cleverly and Anderson wouldn't work out in MF?

So-United shouldn't have used its funds to improve the MF given that none if these guys worked out?

I wonder when most of those are up for renewal? You'd expect most of them to rise dramatically in light of our deal.
Nope.

Real Madrid's deal end in 2020.
Chelsea's deal end in 2023.
Arsenal's deal end in 2019.
Barcelona's deal end in 2018.
Liverpool's deal end in 2022.
City's deal end in 2019.

Staggering that United/ Woodward+Arnold extracted so much out of Adidas just a season after most of deals came into effect..:lol:

How much Nike were paying us per annum?

Also, how much other PL clubs earning from kit deals and when are their current deals expiring.

I expect the same trend around all of Europe now. We will be beaten for this record deal pretty soon I reckon.

That page is also missing the fact that we have AON sponsoring our training ground and kit. We are the benchmark when it comes to these things. IF we could negotiate our own TV deal, No club in the world would match us for revenue. The premier league should thank their lucky stars United are not doing that.

I'm just glad we might actually get a nice kit for once and not a tablecloth.

Hopefully get the comic sans going too.

What's great is almost all of these teams have a good number of years remaining on their current deals. I wonder what the guys in Madrid would be thinking now.

This is absolutely incredible. I still can't believe this.

Just for reference here are 10 of the biggest current deals with approx. annual amount and length of the agreement :

Also at today's exchange rate United's Adidas deal is 75 GBP per year x 1.71 = 128 m$ per season !!

Looking at that chart Liverpool are due a deal. Nike need a new client after losing us. Not that they would be near our level but wonder if a new Liverpool deal would give them an advantage over Arsenal?

£700 million over 10 years, just to wear a kit. It is ridicules to be honest.
If they want to give us that much, then happy days.
it's far more than just 'wearing a kit'. They've rights to all our merchandise now. It's not like they're just giving us money without the prospect of making shitloads off it themselves.

This shows how big of a brand Manchester United are if adidas are willing to pay us more then twice what they pay Real it is because they think they can make a lot more money from selling our shirts than they can from Reals.

They are not giving us anything, they are paying the right to earn 750m

Dear me, when I read the 750 million pound figure over 10 years...I was just surprised that Adidas would throw around money this easily to us. 75 million pounds per season...Surely, Adidas must have a fairly large share of the profits over the Club's sold merchandise, surely...

I wouldn't be surprised to see us spending money like Real Madrid do now. Serious revenue!

I think we already are mate.

Already spent £100m in 2014 on Herrera/Mata and Shaw and there's probably more to come in.
