Dunno If im alone on this i probably am however:

I can take losing games we are getting used to that feeling. My dad made me support united but I fell in love with united because of the way they played. What I want to see more than 3 points in any game at the moment is and improvement on our attacking play and general all round football. If we lose 3-2 having a right go at teams it does not matter. I may be in the majority but I want to see us today firstly play bloody well!

    I don't have a clue about how we'll line up. We're essentially playing with 1 GK, 3 CBs, 1 CM, 3 wingers, 2 #10s and a striker.

    I'm excited.

Not sure why Hernandez is on the bench. Wilson did way more than him in last game, so can only assume it's some ploy to make other clubs interested just because they see his name and remember the player he was some years ago.

Evans again in the starting lineup? Are you serious???
Because James and Keane had such brilliant performances against MK Dons? Evans is a very good center back when at his best, give him a chance to redeem himself from last game.

If I were a player in Burnley and I were about to play against Di María, Van Persie, Mata and Rooney I would not feel very confident. I think we'll have a decent/good game and win with a two goal margin. We are a much better team with much better players and shouldn't be afraid of going to freakin' Burnley!

If fletcher has a somewhat decent game today and our defence don't have any brain farts we should win this by 2 goals at least...

    3-1 Di maria, RVP,Rooney

Di Maria functions better in midfield with a defensive midfielder behind him, in a 3-man midfield. Blind signing makes sense in that regards.

    -------------De Gea-----------
    Raf------Jones----Rojo-----Shaw

    -------------Blind---------------
    ------Herrera------Di Maria----

    --------------Mata-----------
    --------pooney-----------
    ------------------RVP------

My prediction when everybody is fit.
Can't argue with that El-Manos, if Blind is the last signing then in a game against the lesser teams then that looks a good attacking line-up. We might have to tweak it a bit against the stronger teams though, and I would hope that Januzaj gets plenty if game time.

Had a feelling Anderson could be on the bench, now I have feeling he could play few minutes too.

Have we received any updates on Rafa? His Instagram made it seem like he should be returning soon, yet, today he isn't even on the bench.

Van Gaal changed his formation just before the WC from 4-3-3 to 3-5-2 and now hes being stubborn with changing back. 3-5-2 will not work with the quality of players we have on the pitch today. he needs to go back to 4-4-1-1 or 4-3-3.

Our attack as attractive as it is do people honestly expect to win with Young and Valencia LWB/RWB? Two terrible players.

Could someone please PM me a BT Sport stream? I would like to hear the build up to the match.
Interesting that both Cleverley and Kagawa are both dropped, clear sign that both are on their way out. Strange to see Hernandez on the bench, would rather Wilson there if indeed Javier is off to Juventus. Also I'd much rather see Ben Pearson on the bench rather than Anderson!
Both Wilson and Kagawa are injured.

The alternative is Michael Keane. Seriously, do people complaining about the lineup not realise we have loads of injuries?
The injuries are not the problem, the signings are, when Ferdinand, Vidic and Evra left , we should've bought at least one senior and experienced defender, but we bought Herrera, Di Maria, Shaw, Blind and Rojo. One midfielder, one wing, and THREE left backs. Not a single CB.

If this team clicks it could play some fantastic football, particularly when Herrera comes back in for Fletcher.

    It's such an attacking team.

Van Gaal clearly rates them (particularly Valencia). No offence, but I trust him a lot more than the average person on a forum.

The way LvG was puzzled by all the injuries, he might not rush players back. Some will come back after the break. Maybe that has been a problem in the past, that players have come back too early.

Rojo is a CB... He only played LB at the World cup because Argentina didnt have anyone else available

I noticed that the Burnley wide midfielder (Arfield?) was quite tricky but doesn't have much pace. If Young dives in he'll find himself in trouble, but make him try go around him and he should be ok. Have not been impressed with Burnley at all and imagine some sort of reaction from all the negative press plus the boost of Di Maria will see a much better united performance.

It's still surreal as feck that Di María will play for us. Even more so than when we signed van Persie and Mata, imo. I'm a bit sceptical when it comes to a midfield duo with Fletcher and Di María though, but given our situation there's not much LvG can do, I guess. For the first time ever, I think, I'm happy there's a int. break. The next game is in two weeks and by than we'll have Herrera, Shaw and Rojo (I hope :nervous:) available.

You do know that Blind is playing as a DM nowadays, right? And that Rojo is also a CB, where he will probably play in our lineup?
