Swansea, Sunderland and Burnley we took 2 points and scored 2 goals. With this awful rate we may finish below seventh.

    Er...sorry...near Southampton.
LVG may be an individual with a large personality and a surfeit of confidence but he sure as shit hasn't managed to transmit these qualities to the team - any of them. I had such high hopes too!

Agreed. Though I wouldn't be too unhappy if Rooney, Mata and RVP were dropped, they seriously slow us down
This is not fifa. The build up speed is the problem not our pace. If you have short sharp passes it creates a tempo. You do not need to be Usain bolt to play quick football!

Awful, not sure how LvG expects 352 to work when the most important bit of the formation(wing backs) are absolutely shit!

Well that was utter rubbish again. We just don't create proper chances anymore. We had what one decent chance when Di Maria put over that long ball to RVP and that is it. Fletcher again hasn't been good enough, Anderson came on and did more than he has managed in three games.

We simply are not good enough right now, in current form we are going to struggle to mid table, let alone get a top four position. We really need to sort out our midfield and defence. Put something behind our attackers that can actually get the ball moving quickly, instead of waiting until the opposition has everyone back before moving forward.

I would much rather see Janko or Varela play at RWB than Valencia until Rafael is fit

He was given the ball so any times today in great positions with nobody near him and he still can't deliver one decent cross.

Watching him do the same crap over and over again was infuriating, and it's been going on for so long now that I don't really understand what he actually contributes to the team?

I liked the urgency we had in the last 20mins. Coincidence that happened after one of rvp, Rooney and mata was dropped?

Everyone is criticising Valencia. But it was only him who created anything.
Take the amount of times when he was 1v1 against the burnley defenders and then take the amount of times when he successfully put a cross in a dangerous area.

He's a workhorse that just runs with the ball now , Put 1 guy against him and he cannot cross the ball to save his life.So infuriating considering how good he was at crossing before. This is some Torres level of mental problems that he hasn't shrugged off.

So-this system is designed to have our CBs be responsible for carrying the ball forward and then picking out a pass. Without a box to box MF to carry the ball out of the defensive third. Fletcher made one run like this-and looked uncomfortable.

It's like watching a baby crawling.

Point gained considering our injuries! Keep positive lads, were going through our bad phase which every team has but luckily ours is against the smaller teams.

Once we get back to norm we will all laugh looking back.

Bad start to the season, yes. But we have about 7 players to come back into the squad...
Herrera, Rojo, Shaw, Blind, (a settled) Di Maria, (a fit) RvP. Still would like another defender to keep Evans out the team but it's not THAT bad (yet).

I said it before and I'll say it again Fletcher, Evans, Cleverley need to go, for the sake of Manchester United and Young needs to be released along with Anderson, they are legitimate thieves.

Im sorry but im starting having doubts about LVG...
    After 3 games?

Christ I know it is not all good but let's see how they perform after his 3 month deadline and when we have our first team players back eh?

352 could and should work with the right players but when you have the ineffective fletcher and young etc in there any formation will fail.

So, what's your point? We are getting beaten badly through the wings and midfield .... all fixable with the new additions.
my point is that this burnley team will struggle to pick up 30 points this year. They are garbage. If the team we put out today can't beat a team that will finish bottom we have got more problems than a few players coming back from injury.

Can't believe how bad united have been, 352 against a burnley side?! It means 3 CB which are non existent, makes no sense to me we need to be overlapping this pile of shite to get decent crosses in for rooney and RVP!!!

I've been a lurker for a while but had to make an account today just to display my disgust at this current squad, were an absolute embarrassment at the minute! I'd take 7th at this rate! Valencia has to be the most predictable player i have ever seen in my life. With pace to burn how can he not beat anyone 1 on 1!

    De gea - Poor

    Evans - Crap

Blackett - Poor! How many times can you give the ball away with feckin long balls!!

    Jones - decent

    Valencia - Absolute disgrace!

    Young - Rubbish

Fletcher - Shocking! Should never play football for United again! Not an over reaction. He's finished!

Di Maria - Our best player by a distance! Must wonder what the feck he has done.

Mata - Shit! Where the feck was he! Get on the feckin ball and do something!

Rooney - Poor! Where are you Skipper???

RVP - Seriously not match fit and looks like he doesn't give a feck either.

I feel making Rooney captain was a mistake. Not because he isn't captain material but he is now first name on the team sheet. Rooney and RVP don't work well together. Too much ego? Not sure but Mata will be first dropped to keep Rooney and RVP on the pitch. That will be a mistake.

Personally, until we get all the players back that are injured, and also anymore we are bringing in I would only play the 3-5-2 in the first half. But I have full faith in Van Gaal. he told us we would need patience and that it could take 3 months. Keep the faith.

Almost £200m+ worth of "talent" on the pitch and we can only muster 1 shot on target against Burnley? Pathetic. Absolutely pathetic.

Again Mutv are saying, they have said it before, nobody will come out with the ball from the back to get it to the midfielders quicker. Also the wingbacks are awful. Come back Rafael and Shaw.

The problem was moyes. He should have followed fergie and sent Rooney packing. Instead he gives him a pay rise and a contract extension, spoils team harmony. Had the chance to buy proper midfielders, but went with his Everton lackey. Painful.
