Manchester United under 21s dropped in to meet youngsters at a special school
Manchester United aces showed off their skills on a visit to a special school.
Rafael da Silva and Andreas Pereira joined the club’s under 21s squad on a trip to Kingfisher Community Special School in Chadderton.
Players chatted to pupils for about an hour and a half and even joined them for a kick-about in the playground.
Michael Unsworth, business director at the Foxdenton Lane school, said: “It was fantastic.
“We weren’t sure how many of the lads were going to come down and how long they were going to be with us for.
“There were about 16 in total along with the coach, Warren Joyce, who is an Oldham lad.
“Our kids really love having visitors and they went around all the classes, met all the children and even played football with them.
“They really interacted well with them and were immaculately behaved, a real credit to the club.”
