Not at all.. (well yes, obviously, but thats not my reasoning)...I just dont get why people get so wound up by footballers. It's daft. You genuinely wouldn't be able to function in life if you held your real world associates to same standards of loyalty and behaviour you expect from your team's players in their early 20s. And like
@noodlehair said, I always saw him as more simple than disloyal anyway. He seemed genuinely surprised about all the hate when he first returned. He was just a bit of an idiot.
I also don't think he's been a "cancer" anywhere apart from that one point at City, particularly. At West Ham, us and Juve he's was an exemplary team player on the pitch. Which is all that matters.
