Man appreciates the clips, MoneyMay.

I'm not sure if that makes me sound more like a grime artist or Jaqen H'ghar.

Can someone please tell me why all of the sudden, Grime has become almost a mainstream hype? I'm a DJ and use to play UK Garage and Grime back in the day but it kind of died when dubstep came up. I lost interest and started playing Techno instead. Still love grime though!

Classic DJ Slimzee & Dizzee Rascal :

Still got that CD from a box set of tapes from one of the sidewinder events.

Personally think P's and Q's has been Kano's best that I've heard so far.

Wiley has released some shit, like Boom Blast is one of the funniest songs I've ever heard, but when he actually goes in there isn't many better. Kano is one of my favourites too.

Heard of Bugzy Malone before but never really listened to him but have checked him out because of this thread and he is good. Been missing out some of these newer artists.

Worth checking out some of his interviews and lectures. Seems a really interesting guy(Also his sister is Miss Dynamite)
Yep saw him against Tommy Robinson. It was insane with the facts he was just spitting out.

Yeah got insane's amount of history knowledge. He was on a Frankie Boyle show(I think it was on the BBC iplayer)talking about Racism in the UK, really interesting stuff (Racism is really never talked about in the UK). Shame he's not got a bigger platform.

As for his music I prefer his earlier stuff(Although Lyrically he's a lot better now).

Bugzy Malone killed that FITB freestyle but he seems to be riding on Chips wave at the moment.

The truth is uncomfortable. Akala is sublime. With regards to his rapping, I agree with you. Lyrically, he's improved so much and he's much more technical. I also like the fact that he experiments with his music and he still sounds good (listen to The Thieves Banquet album). Is there a lyrically more intelligent rapper in the UK? Lowkey's no longer here, so I think that's a no.

Bugzy Malone was on his way up since the release of his SPITFIRE on JDZMedia, which was on high figures before the beef with Chip. I think it reached one million views before the beef. His ELITE SESSIONS was released after that, at the end of last year and that received lots of love. He was riding on no wave then and he doesn't need Chip to stay relevant. The beef did come at a good time for him though and he showed a lot of us why he's a promising artist.

Cheers for the tag. Hadn't seen this. Naughty Boy is a snake though still, the industry is fecked and I just hope it doesn't lead to Mic retiring like he mentioned before. Artists like Mic need to be independent, it might not make them all the money but he'll never fit into a record label or their plans.

Is there any date for his album? Hoping this means he starts releasing stuff quick. He says he got a song with Nas, I want to hear that.

Zayn from One Direction to collaborating with Mic, what a change.
