Good discussion @kouroux I'm glad we could have it in a civil manner despite disagreeing. I'm going to watch the second half more intently so won't be responding until the game is over. Enjoy the rest of it (hopefully we get a good comeback to enjoy!).
Cheers my man, hopefully a lot more things to agree on in this half.

I don't even think LVG has set the team to not be about possession, I think the Germans are pressing the team much better than most PL teams have so far and it's showing. Our team is a wannabe Barcelona/Bayern team with possession. When the pressure is really on, it loses its cojones.
And we can't control the rhythm of games, that's what frustrates me, we are bad at what LVG was supposed to bring.

It's hard to understand what your criticism is. I should celebrate when we lose? And when we win these days it's usually with completely garbage football. The fact is I am consistent in my criticism of our manager. I wanted him to be successful, but he hasn't and shows no signs of building the sort of squad the money he's spending warrants. I want him out for the benefit of my club.
I explained my criticism in my first reply to you but the fact you didnt understand explains a lot.... You simply repeat the same thing post after post after post.
This is too easy, dont pick your nose, your head might cave in....

feck sake, after such a promising start for it to go pear-shaped is a huge disappointment. That disallowed goal was a big kick in the teeth too. Great goal for Martial though. I'm a bit pissed at Bastian for the second goal, I feel he can do way better there. Smalling for the first goal cannot lose his man that easily.

I seriously think Fellaini in midfield is fecking us over. He goes forward or towards the left too often. Leaving us exposed and vulnerable to the counter attack. That needs to change.

Carrick for bastian and we can win this. Fellaini is causing enough troble with balls in the air. Bastian is useless right now.

Yeah effectively we are playing with no defensive midfielder which is why we look so exposed to those late runs.
I have no idea why Fellaini started ahead of Carrick. He's not mobile enough to justify the loss of control.

was a goal. Mata moved away from the ball, his movement was very obvious. He ran across it to make sure he wasn't offside (not towards it). THe GK had no reason to believe Mata will get to it. The replay makes that clear. GK got lucky that the refs fell for his plea.

He's been terrible. Lost the ball more than anyone, not tracking back, not making tackles, too slow to even be a presence when we're defending.

If Carrick doesn't come on I'll be utterly shocked.
He looks like Xavi compared to Bastian out there tonight. let alone the unfortunate shit show that our back 4 are currently offering.

Under the new rules, old skool rules says it's a goal.
Old School rules were a bit ambiguos considering that they had a lower threshold of what consists of a player being passive in an offside position. The new rules are more clearer in that aspect.

We can't stop here. This is bat country.
We've got nothing from refs in Europe this season.

I'm still angry that we didn't have a penalty and red card in the first game after the GBH on Shaw.

Cursed from the start. Can't expect any favours though. They're there to be beaten tonight and we're not doing it. Probably finish like this with PSV drawing and is unable to even get the draw.

BT managed to come to the conclusion that it was the right decision and not contentious within about 2.5 minutes but still proceeded to discuss it all HT.

We seem to be pressing higher as a group more often than I remember of late.
Yeah we are but our pressing hasn't been near coordinated enough. I've noticed multiple times our press has been broken because others behind the front 2-3 aren't taking cues to step up when appropriate.

    Red Card for Casemiro!
We couldn't have gone 3 at the back with their pace on the wings. CBJ was the only option. Stop blaming the manager for that. Smalling was supposed to mark Nando. Stop blaming the manager for that. Schweini got schooled and Draxler was sublime. Stop blaming the manager for that.

We should never have come into this game needing the win. #LVGOUT

Watch the gif, right after the ball crosses the line he looks straight at the ref and starts gesturing, long before any Wolfsburg player is close to him.
You're right. I was just very angered by the way the ref just reversed a decision because Wolfsburg players decided to have a go.

The warning sign was against 'Boro a few weeks ago when we had no defenders on the bench (unless you count Young). But me and you are supposedly in the minority.
neither rojo shaw nor valencia suffered a normal injury. They are reasonably fit players and suffered what you call freak injuries. And boro game was in october. We cant buy any players, the maximum we can do is get youth players which we do.

Those crying out for Carrick. He as not been that effective of late.
Yeah, I'd prefer him to Fellaini, but I doubt he's going to offer anything that Schweinsteiger (who's also been poor) hasn't.
