Not at the moment. I'd long been an advocate for Mourinho taking over. I'd have preferred him to Moyes in 2013: I said as much. He'd have been my first choice.

His recent form is extremely worrying though. From a managerial perspective, his head doesn't seem in the right place. He regularly slates his own players, his conduct has been shocking, his side play awful football, and the atmosphere at Chelsea just comes across as completely toxic. There are other concerns, such as his terrible record with youth.

Personally, I'd be interested in the possibility of appointing Mourinho in the future, but I'd avoid for now. I'd see how he does in his next couple of jobs, and then consider going back to him at a push. Personally, I'd prefer an option such as Guardiola or Ancelotti ahead of Mourinho right now if they were obtainable. There's just something incredibly toxic about the man right now, and his season with Chelsea this year has been utterly embarrassing despite the quality he has at his disposal.

But right now no way, would rather stick with LvG if the alternative is getting Mourinho. His biggest asset - that air of invincibility - he already lost since his last year at RM. His 2nd biggest asset - making his players perform - has been non- existant since the 2nd half of last season.

I wanted him instead of Moyes, I can write off this season as I still believe he is a elite level manager, he seemed to be openly gutted at losing the post to Moyes, I think if her got the job it could inspire him onto even bigger things personally and professionally.

However with pep in the frame the tide has turned and I would say hand on heart, go for Pep and if that fails Maureen as a nice back-up option.

Nah, it's not just the big games. Plus his coward tactics also fall under this. In fact the PSG game last season when PSG had to play with 10 men for almost the entire game and Chelsea's attack still looked toothless and they were knocked out in the end was symbolic for his lack of attacking initiative and probably the beginning of the end of his time at Chelsea.

The task at hand at UTD is not suited to Mourinho, people like Pep or Klopp are a much better fit. Mourinho would've been my first choice to replace SAF when he left though, I'm sure he would've continued where SAF left off.

Possibly any younger manager who'll inject progress and success to United may naturally become long term solution but like I said only one way to find out. If Mourinho is the solution then let's do it. No risk, no fun, no win.

To be honest every choice brings some concerns. Giggs, Pep, Mou, even Klopp would be uncertain at some point especially when you'll look what was going on in Dortmund last season.

LvG doesn't like risk but the more he stays here the more he'll be forced to take one. Maybe it's less complicated than it sounds and the next manager will be a clear and natural choice without extensive search and analysis.

Taking a side the fact he's a massive cnut - youth management was always my biggest concern with him being United manager and well this season more than ever has shown that he really doesn't give a feck about it.

So no stay as far away as possible.
