Pretty terrible so far. Varela, Herrera and Mata have been really poor, whereas Blind has been absolutely abysmal. Memphis hasn't been great either and Martial is too busy covering for Varela's who's having a very difficult time against Capoue. Fosu-Mensah is having to cover Varela's zone as well.

Keep some perspectives lads. Very young team. This is a lesson for them. The Arsenal game was all emotion. The crowd drove them on. Today is different, they have to drive the crowd on and break down an organized team. They have gone from underdogs to favourites. It's a tough but important lesson.

Will be interesting to see the second half. Think we miss Lingard a little. His work rate is under appreciated. Blind and Herrera have been dreadful. Hopefully they can turn it around.

We're very lucky to be level going in. Lads like Herrera, Blind and Mata who should really be the leaders out there are letting the side down.

There's some naivety from TFM, Varela and Memphis which you'd expect but the older heads haven't imposed themselves on the game at all.

Ander needs to stop putting the back 4 under pressure with brainless passes and Mata needs to offer himself for the ball in that tight space outside their box and take on responsibility for unlocking their defence. They are sitting too deep and compact for us to expect Memphis and Martial to unlock it on their own.

Fosu-Mensah deserved his yellow but why has their right back been let off after 3 cynical fouls?

People need to remember this is a very young team and have a little patience. This isn't great, but it's nothing like how badly we were playing around Christmas

It's not the young ones that are disappointing. Blind has been atrocious, Herrera's passing has been all over the place, and Mata's not doing much at all, while Schneiderlin's been alright I suppose, without doing much.

You really need those with experience to step up and lead when you're fielding a team like this. Instead they're absolutely choking, while the younglins have done alright.
