Are those the targets you set yourself to make the Bundesliga exciting for you? :D

That's the common misconception on this board. Just buy players and everything will fix itself. Bayern has a working system in place, that's what makes them play so well, not that they have so much more talent than everybody on their team (although in Germany, that is the case).
They have the best squad in the world right now. Barcelona might have the more spectacular front line (and even here Bayern beats them in depth), but everything else is more balanced and superior.

Their squad strength is enourmous and on top of that they are run like a well oiled machine with one of the best managers at the helm. If they play at their full capacity or at least near it, any team in the world would have to have a great day to just match them. What happens to a good team, which has just an average day could be seen yesterday.

Quite frankly, if Guardiola would stick around longer I could see them building a similar era like he did with Barca. As much as it pains me to admit as opposing fan, but some of the stuff they play is in a different league.

Thiago is not at full form yet, he was brilliant tonight but that was the first time I've seen him perform this well since his injury break.
He had an amazing display against Zagreb too, bagging 3 (!) assists. Even if Dortmund is on another level.

Disappointing game, for all Bayern's quality Dortmund shot themselves in the foot with some amateur level defending and utterly shambolic decision making from their keeper. Gundogan and Aubameyang were the only 2 Dortmund players who offered anything.

There is no goals without mistakes... and you just can be as good as your opponent let's you...

There are goals without mistakes, attackers outplaying defenders with skill and great movement. On this occasion though it was beyond a mistake, Dortmund's errors were schoolboy level stuff, the keeper in particular was clueless.

Yeah, Dortmund's defense looked oddly out of shape. Miscommunication, bad positioning, individual mistakes. I don't understand why Tuchel thought it's a good idea to change the position of 2 defenders and play a rightback at leftback. I get that they had to replace Schmelzer, but Piszczek did that. So why play Bender at centerback, move Sokratis to rightback and kick Ginter out of the team? Cohesion is so important for a defense and Ginter was playing great at rightback. Sokratis was also quite clearly missed in the middle against Lewandowski.

Obviously it's difficult to keep this Bayern side quiet for 90 minutes and a few mistake will always happen, so you need a bit of luck that we don't take our first few chances as well as we did yesterday. But you sure as hell can defend a lot better than Dortmund did yesterday.

Bayern lost today. That means this Klassiker can be really exciting as i see the chances 50:50 in this game and now this game really matters because if Dortmund wins the title is finally a close fight. :)

Looking forward to this, hopefully Dortmund get the win to make the run-in more exciting.
Agreed. Most neutrals will probably be supporting BVB here for the sake of the title race.

Will be an interesting tactical battle.

FC Bayern: Neuer - Lewandowski, Robben, Costa, Alonso, Bernat, Lahm (K), Vidal, Müller, Alaba, Kimmich
bench: Ulreich - Benatia, Thiago, Ribéry, Rafinha, Götze, Rode

Surprised to see Thiago on the bench and Alonso to start. Other than that as expected.

/edit:
BVB: Bürki, Bender, Gündogan, Mkhitaryan, Reus, Hummels, Aubameyang, Piszczek, Schmelzer, Weigl, Durm
subs: Weidenfeller, Subotic, Leitner, Sahin, Ramos, Castro, Ginter

I struggle to make sense of that Dortmund line-up. Is Durm playing midfield or on the wing? Or is that some weird back five? Both teams play with 3 fullbacks. Maybe they're trying to set a new trend. And there's only one real centerback on the pitch. I guess Bender plays next to Hummels.

Aubameyang is so fecking ridiculously fast. That was like a pace 99 in Fifa vs a pace 80 or something.

Gundogan returning to peak form. Hope Dortmund can hang onto their players. PPG they are 4th in the big four leagues, behind only Bayern, Barcelona and PSG.
