I said 3-1 to City but I have changed my mind.

We will win this, be full of hope we can get top 4, then lose the next 3 on the bounce.

lol dunno. Put Darmian in because Varela was replaced at HT and might be lacking confidence. Schneiderlin over Fellaini more in hope. Mata and Lingard both because Herrera is injured. Given I got 11 right probably after many months, just means luck was involved as well :D
Quick predict the scores before the lady leaves you!

I personally would have started Adnan ahead of one of Lingard or Mata, especially mata.

Should have easily been ahead of Lingard. ..I like Lingard but he can't be starting all our games and with Darmian behind him our right side is going to stink it up.

Think I would have had Tony V at RB, Rojo in CD and Darmian at LB....Never been convinced with Blind as a CB....

Anyway, I'm with some of the other guys on here - I've decided that I'll do my own protesting by refusing to watch again until Van Gaal is 'invited to leave'....A shame when anyone loses their job, but after Thursday it's now inevitable

Figure a fairly miserable 3 - 1 for Athletic, but I'll record the match to watch later just in case a miracle happens....

Edited to add just heard The Scousers result at Southampton....And what did we do from 1 - 1, not 0 - 2 down....Rubbish !!

I really like Rash ford and Blind, but it doesn't serve them or the team to play them every single match. This is especially true of Rashford. The guy is a fantastic talent but to have him be an automatic starter all of a sudden is brutal on a player that's only 18. The premier league is very tough... I hope we aren't making a mistake here.

Darmian starting against Sterling is worrying, I'd have played Valencia. I thought Fellaini would play but I guess since City are playing with Yaya in CM we might be able to get away with Carrick in there.

We need to win this and whenever thats the case we flop... I see this being no different

That City defense looks suspicious. If Lingard does more than fall over today we could have them

    Aguero. *shrugs*

Can't help but feel (anytime I see him line up against us) it's a fruitless endeavour. Maybe we can ride our luck today.

How'd we spend so much money and end up with a front three of Lingard, Martial and Rashford. Two of those are youth players. Martial is a great talent and Rashford has potential but in no way should a team of our ambitions be relying on these guys.

I'm with you. Last game I watched was the Watford game. Quite happy with my boycott. For the first time in a long time I'm at a loose end this morning, and would actually have to manufacture something else to do. Normally I have the excuse of work.

Last game, I was on a plane. Today, I have nothing to do but an hour ago I told my girlfriend we should go watch a movie.
Last time I watched a game, was the Mata red card. I knew what was coming and decided not to watch. They didn't disappoint. I'm not going to take any emotional trauma over this team whil this coach is here.

Rashford starts his 8th game in a row. Van Gaal either has a lot of faith in him, or injuries are forcing him to keep him in the team. Wilson never got this amount of faith, nor any other youth player. Granted he never rescued his ass with 4 goals off the bat, but still. He could easily move Martial up front and move Memphis or Januzaj wide.

5-0 to City. Anything less than that and this is a good Sunday.

    Aguero. *shrugs*

Norwich did against him last week. Rarely happens in successive games. We will definitely have to score more than one to have any chance of winning this game. Difficult to envisage.

Van Gaal says he "wants to see the spirit we showed against West Ham and Liverpool"...

    We're doomed.

Yep, we can all see it, but Van Gaal thinks it's genius planning.

It worked against a nobody European team, and a heart the size of a pea Arsenal, but hasn't since, so to perform away at City really is asking the world.
    However crap they've been themselves.

We really should have been even points with City at this point but unfortunately are just slightly less shit than us.

Was thinking that the other day.

Surely Van Gaal has embezzled the money or something, no way has he spent £250 million and ended up with this shitty squad.

why do Sky have these absolute dickheads on has pundits, they all hate United and dont hide it.

Why does it matter? If we were a good side, winning games we wouldn't give a shit and they (likely) wouldn't have much knife to stick in.
