No way West Ham can keep this up, we're running circles around them.

Pogba in particular has been outstanding.
All they need is another set piece or brilliant skill from payet. They come away with what they want if they score 2 goals.

Because we sure as shit aint scoring more than another one. Just so naiive and lacking composure in the last third.

Ball to hand, never a pen. Especially from that distance.
No that was from too close, no time to react.
Arm was out. Not tucked in.
That is a pen. Every single person here would have wanted one if the teams were swapped.

Far too close to be one. Arsenal got away with one from further away earlier, as does many other teams every week.
2 wrongs and all that. I dont care about Arsenal. We got lucky. And wasnt everyone complaining about Arsenal getting the decision in the other thread?

We didn't have the early call in the opposite box as well so it's even.
I dont remember. Which one was that?

Behind the right goal post as "Whiteside shoots!"
Refs don't help themselves, every week they do their Little Hitler routine.

Our only yellow is Pogba jumping/evading/diving (you decide) but surely he just has a quiet chat, especially as the tackle A SECOND before was a foul on Pogba.

Only red is for shouting and kicking a bottle! Again, just come over to Jose, say "sorry, I disagree but you need to calm down"?

    Pre-emptive instead of reactive?

No common sense, not fit (he could lose two stone easy), never do post match interviews, protected by Refs Association all the time and no one else can say a word about them.

I thought we played well enough to be ahead but not sure we've played as brilliantly as most are saying here. Still slow and ponderous at times.

Mkhitaryan for Rashford and we'll smash them in the second half. Rashford is the clear weak point in that attack for us and everything is falling apart when he gets it. Possibly Blind for Darmian for better delivery on the left, but other then that, more of the same.

We should really be ahead. This lack of focus at the beginning of games needs to stop. You could just tell from how the game started that a goal would be scored. Slow pace, West Ham kept inching up the pitch until they got a set piece and bang, in.

I know he scored but I think Ibra was generally poor in that half. He takes shots like one of those films where a flower is shown opening up. Was also extremely poor on the free kick where they scored.

Herrera has been good. Lingard made a dumb foul early on that led to the goal but he's made a lot of danger on runs. Stop trying to use him in the role of a second 10, keep him on the wing and let him cut inside.

Looks like we're on top but don't know what to expect 2nd half. Would like to see Mkhitarian come on.

Rashford and Lingard need to start taking on and beating a man.

We have to stop using our B team ffs. Where are Martial and Mkhitaryan?

Good half, we just need to be more clinical, it's frustrsating as hell but at least I am being entertained which is more than I can say for the last few seasons.

I think Blind on at LB and Mkhi on for Lingard would be a good move at half time.

    The End?
This team is so fecking goalshy. Lacking any resemblance of confidence/composure in front of goal.

Its not a fecking coincidence we are now looking at yet more missed chances and dropped points despite bossing a game. I repeat. Its NOT a coincidence.

Honestly if you use the likes of Lingard ahead of Mikhitaryan then thats what happens. The calibre of player that Henrikh facilitates our goal scoring even if he isnt the one doing it.

So frustrated at this team of nearly men. Just such shit/weak mentality.
How the feck, can anyone blame Lingard for chances that other players are missing? Fair enough, if we weren't creating anything and he was constantly messing up the play, but he's been fine.

The stick Lingard gets on here is extraordinary. You'd think a local lad who's playing well would get supported and backed by his own fans.

Gotta keep our heads out there. Mourinho has already lost his.

We're playing well enough and creating good chances. Keep up the pressure and introduce subs when our energy level starts to dip. We've got to keep plugging away and their keeper won't be able to stop everything. Would love to see us being clinical more often and we'd clearly be higher in the league. There's a good side just crying out for some consistency.

    Another keeper playing a blinder.
That's debatable. One quality save from Lingard's shot, but I wouldn't be so quick to sing his praises for the Rashford save. Rashford's shot was poor and didn't ask enough of their keeper.

Apart from that, I was thinking his effort for our goal were pathetic. He almost looked resigned to Ibrahimovic scoring. Not what I would describe as a blinding performing.

Im fed up of these superman blocks and lung busting efforts from these rival sides when they play us but v most other sides its walking pace and average performances.
They're cheating their own fans, if I was a fan I would not be happy
It's been this way for as long as I can remember though, we're just a cup final to a lot of teams.

I swear. Sometimes people on here just don't admit it when a decision goes in our favour.

Seeing that 1on1 from Rashford again, he had the whole right side of the goal open there. He could have even just run past him.

It is going to be another one of those days....Absolutely rotten luck/no finishing is going to screw us at the end of season....

Good buildup, good play, but final third is still missing....

Rashford should be switched for Mkhi, otherwise all fine. Need to score sooner rather than later though can't take another 'just one of those days'

Generally our attacking play has been good. Rashford needs a break, the kid needs to be taken out of the limelight. Pogba was stupid with that dive, he'll be a huge miss for the next game. feck knows why Jose was sent off for that, let there be some passion in the game....

We make a lot of bad choices in the final third. The front 4 keep snatching at the ball in almost every instance.

He can't if the defender slides like that... he would need to have the control in the direction of the goals with his first touch and shoot right after to have a chance to challenge the keeper.
I get that but my frustration needed an outlet :D
