Unlucky but we should have been much better. Good on Rooney to break SBC record. Great free kick.

Useless strikers who can't finish. Enough said. Whoever said we don't need Griezmann is probably bleeding out if both eyes.

Changed my stance, if Spurs win (I hope they do) then we gained a point on LFC and City, always looking at the positives ay.

You had this ready to copy and paste didn't you
Was writing it in the match day thread and then paused to cheer Rooney's goal. Then as the whistle went, put it in this thread instead.

This fekin madman that is in perpetual state of fighting - with himself, that we call our manager keeps shuffling the team completley unnecessary.

Poor performance despite being dominant. Happy to rescue the point though and great goal from Rooney to take the record. Valencia had a great game to be fair.

Some players really lack conviction though (hello Pogba).

Missed chances. Terrible decision making in the final third. Ref was shit. Still should have won that. Stoke away is always a difficult match. At least the dippers lost. Mata and Pogba very disappointing.

Congratulations Wayne,

But 2 pts dropped again today.

Overall our finishing is still atrocious , you can have all the possession in the world but if it takes 15 or 16 chances every game to score or even trouble the keeper then you are going nowhere.

It was a good chance to play catch up on the top 4 but it was a chance that was yet again blown.

Listen these two games we have not been good, fallen behind on both but fought back and got two points

It's nothing to celebrate over but it's showing a real resilience in the team. Under lvg, obviosuly Moyes and even up to October, we would have gotten a fat zero

The way both went I'm actually delighted with the two pints

Same type of game we've seen countless of times this season. Still can't improve our finishing.

Wonderful freekick from Rooney, but it still feels like a loss.

I can't remember why I joined this war.
I really don't get this team. We are missing easy chances all season long just to score the almost impossible ones.

As great as that free kick from Rooney was at the en the fact remains that we again only have a draw due to our horrible finishing and of course Mr. Clattenburg this time.

Not sure we've turned a corner at all, yes we've not lost in a while but no way is it just us being "unlucky" we've drawn so many easy games, don't deserve to be in the top four at all. Mata should also be disgusted with himself after that performance today, not good enough for our starting 11 at all.

Couldn't care less about Rooney's record. Our finishing is truly awful and we won't make top 4 if we continue this way. You can see Rooney is more concerned about the result than the record so respect to him for that.

Gained a point on Liverpool and maybe Spurs or City at a bogey ground where it looked like we was heading home with zero points.

I love this new Utd. We don't give up. Happy enough.

Our season is over.

In recent seasons whenever the teams we are chasing have slipped up we've failed to take advantage. Speaks to the mental weakness of this team.

Finishing was absolute and utter turd. We had so many shots, the bulk of which weren't worthy of the name.

A lot of players showed they haven't got the stomach to play for Man Utd today. Repeatedly wasting good chances, choking in front of goal.

We have a lot of mannequin footballers: their only purpose is to look nice, they have virtually no ability to do decisive things.

Really poor. I am not even sure we will be playing Champions League football next season after that. This was the kind of fixture we simply had to win to keep up.

Was the perfect game for Carrick and Martial. Well done Jose.

How the hell is it Mourinho's fault if the players just can't finish? Even Mata, Mr. consistent finishing couldn't score an open goal! Players let us down today

Well done Wayne he deserves all the plaudits he will get. 250 goals is an amazing feat.

The rest off ours teams finishing was just awful today as a man they managed to waste countless chances.

We should have had at least one penalty but if we had gotten it Zlatan would probably have tried to pass the ball. Why wouldn't he shoot today?

Mata cost us the game really, and you'll have never said that before.

It really was a woeful performance in front of goal. The general play was as good as you expect away at Stoke, nothing spectacular but enough to win the thing.

Their goal was just a fluke.

Shit result on a day we could've been looking at putting right last weeks shit.

But, the record is broken, so congrats to Rooney.

Shit result. But I'm looking at it in a positive sense: At best, we made up a point on Liverpool and will stay even with City and Spurs.

Really fed up after that match. Getting top 4 is going to be very hard I think

We dropped 2 points against a shithouse side as our finishng is so woeful, we at least looked a bit more threatening when Rashford came on but I thought taking Mkhi off was a mistake.

Only time will tell if that was an important point gained or two points dropped. Don't think many teams will be banking on going away to Stoke and bringing back 3 points.

Boring. Predicted 1-1 and I'm not surprised, could be a lot worse. We gained slightly on Liverpool and I'd wager City too. Stoke is still a tough place to go.

Keeps our unbeaten run going at least. Stoke were a stubborn side for us today. Even so we had the chances to beat them, just couldn't finish anything. It's 2 points dropped.

But Rooney's moment of history gives us something to take away as a positive. Congrats to him, it's been a long time coming.

2 points dropped but I won't be as bitter with that last strike. Really was a goal worthy of breaking the club scoring record. Congrats Wayne!

There were plenty of poor performances today, although I thought Pogba was ok especially considering he didn't play as far forward throughout the match like he usually does. While Rashford threatened to change the game I felt he didn't put himself in enough positions to truly impact the proceedings and felt that Lingard did hardly anything of consequence apart from the shot that hit the crossbar. Finally, Ibrahimovic probably had his worst game in a United shirt today. It's clear that when he's not on, the rest of the team falls a level also.

I actually think we would have won the league if we had RVN or RVP (during that season) with us.

Our finishing is simply ridiculous.

you're not even sure?

Of course we won't play CL football.
