Boruc was definitely drinking the goalkeeper against Utd at OT GOAT performance coolaid before this sending off, now he's going to elevate himself to Lev Yashin status, guaranteed.

This game has it all do far. Fecking hell. Firstly we should definitely be winning. Story of our season so far with these wasted chances.

As for the end of that half there it all became a bit mental. The Ref definitely shat it on those decisons. Should have been 2 more red cards.

Let's take advantage though and kill these feckers off in the second half.

Defense has been a disgrace at times, particularly Jones.

Griezmann, a defender and another midfilelder cant come in soon enough

Should have been 3 or 4 goals up by now. Wasted chances again. We need to be ruthless in front of goal.
That first half just reminded me of the Stoke game in October. Totally dominant. Make a mistake. 1-1.

We need to stop doing this. When we're ahead we need to put teams away. Our wastefulness makes teams believe they can come back if they just keep plugging away. Had we gone two or three up the game would've been dead.

What have Carragher and Henry said?
Said what any rational people amongst us would.

Mings was a pathetic coward, it's not surprising Ibra went to wallop him, but it's not right.

Although I disagree that Surman is unlucky to get sent off. He's wiped Shaw out, then shoved Ibra over.

Crazy end to the first half. Ibra and Mings should have been sent off not Surman, in the replays what Mings did looks deliberate but the referee can't see replays. We should have had at least 2 or 3 goals by now. Ibra should be taken off ASAP, we don't want him to get sent off.

We'll put this game to bed in the second half, Rashford on and end up winning by 2-3 goals.

Ibra probably needs a little rest anyway so won't be the end of the world if he does get a ban

Jones has reminded us that he's always got a ricket in his locker, and when one comes, he goes to pieces a bit

Zlatan stamped Mings first. Looked like it was on purpose as well.

If Zlatan continues we will be down a man soon because the ref will know come 2nd half.

Mings should have been sent off for that stamp.

If the ref had done his job, Ibra would not have elbowed him.

Sadly, this common sense wont apply to retrospective banning.
The common sense would be to ban them both.

It looks like the referee saw the elbow, though may have seen it more of a swinging arm than a calculated elbowing motion. That was a lengthy chat. What else could he have been giving him a ticking off for?

Zlatan should have gone as well, but it would have been infuriating if Zlatan walked and Mings didn't. Mings is the worst in all of this, by miles. Zlatan shouldn't have done that, but you can definitely understand why he's done it. As Carragher said, if someone stamps on your head, you're not just going to let it go, at any level.

They're down to 10, but it's going to be a tough 2nd half. They'll park it and take any opportunity to wind down the clock. A draw at Old Trafford is a good result for them.

Zlatan to score the winner

Actually I don't think Mings stamp was intentional. Does he really want to be on Ibra's bad side???

Rooney didn't have a bad half but he's just not ruthless at all anymore and subdued. Just wish he had more intent about him.

Shameful from both Mings & Zlatan. Should've been a red for the stamp no doubt, should've been a red for the elbow no doubt, but to then dive from a slight push to get an innocent party sent off? Find that crap more frustrating than the elbow which was more understandable.

But I want the Mickey mouse treble:(
We are struggling to battle for top four.

You surely cant this bunch of bottlers to win a treble right?

Honestly, qualifying for the CL would be a major achievement this year. Massive. Thats how far standards have fallen.

Can you blame us though? Look at these shitc**ts and their finishing. bournemouth are the worst team in the league and we are struggling and letting them get in our heads.

If I was Ibra, and woukdn't have waited for the chance to get my own back on the cnut....I reckon I'd have just got up and just absolutely nutted him....And then when he was on the floor just keep kicking the shit out of him until someone dragged me away....After what the cnut did, that'd be worth a four match ban.

I hope Jose fecking rips into every single one of them. We should have ATLEAST 3 goals! This game is so infuriating!
That Rooney & Ibra 2 on 1 bungled chance was the worst.

To come away from that situation without even a shot on goal was incredible

Actually Ibra's header reminds me of Alonso's elbow on Bellerin in the Chelsea v Arsenal game. Ibra is just raising his arm to cover himself in the challenge.

However the commentators don't say anything like that when in the Chelsea game, Alonso was covering himself. Actually the Alonso challenge was worse in my opinion.

    Such hypocrites.
I haven't seen Alonso's challenge, however Ibra knew what he was doing with that follow through of an elbow. If the ref puts it in his match report that he saw Ibra clash with his elbow, then I don't believe a retrospective ban is in play. But this is Ibra and The FA, it should be a 3 match ban.

Disgraceful stamp from Mings - just seen it. What a cnut of epic proportions.

Not condoning what Ibra did, but it's good to see us not being bullied and one of our players finally standing up for himself. We would've pussied out of the game and moaned afterwards if that had happened over the past few years.
Exactly. That stamp makes me feel sick everytime I see it. He really genuinely could have done serious damage and I hope Zlatan gets that checked at half time in case of concussion. Absolutely disgusting!

Zlatan will almost definitively get banned for 3 games now. If he does, will he miss the Chelsea match?

Tbf, that whole kerfuffle wouldn't have happened had we not just stopped playing after we scored and allowed them back in it. We should be 3-0 up at least and miles above any of these kind of handbags.

Yeah, looking at this again it looks more reckless and clumsy rather than malicious. He should have apologized immediately though.
