She has grown on me, gradually. The first video was painful and I said I'd never watch another but here we are! I don't know if the repeating of minor details, such as dates, is for effect or filler.
Those 20min segments could probably be done in half the time but it seems to be made to be idiot proof. The way she explains who the people involved are every time they are mentioned or where something took place time and time again is properly annoying imo.
But the reporting itself is top class, no doubt about that. She's brought up some really good stuff over the past couple of weeks.

So much for Obama's legacy going down the drain. Republicans won't be able to get away with a total repeal, without their base revolting. And if they genuinely improve it, the better.

thats the amazing part about it. They can't repeal it now. They always agreed on repealing but never the replace, they figured they could have gotten away with repealing the legislation only but the American people won't allow that because they like so many things about it now that they realise the ACA and ObamaCare are the same thing.

Now just like the dems did, they want to rush this through but this time without even getting the cost and coverage numbers. If this doesn't go through its going to be the beginning of the end for the republican led Congress
-Obama took office in Jan'09
- Jul'09 Bill is 1st revealed
- House passed the bill in Nov'09
- Senate passed their version of the bill in Dec'09
- March'10 bill was reconciled
- March'10 Obama signed it into law

Ryan has promised to deliver the 218-vote majority needed for passage in the chamber, which Republicans have said is expected before lawmakers recess in April

well pardon... even faster than the dems did. The hypocrisy in what the republicans are doing Knows no bounds.

A House Republican has reintroduced his own Obamacare repeal measure with the not-so-subtle title of the “World’s Greatest Healthcare Plan of 2017.” Rep. Pete Sessions (R-TX), chairman of the powerful Rules Committee, introduced the legislation last week, just days before GOP leadership unveiled their proposal to begin the process of repealing and replacing the Affordable Care Act, better known as Obamacare. Sessions was reportedly hoping that his legislation would be the basis of House Republicans’ eventual repeal efforts. Instead, Speaker Paul Ryan and his team modeled their initial bill on legislation authored by former Rep. Tom Price, the Georgia Republican who now leads President Trump’s Department of Health and Human Services. Price said Tuesday that that bill as currently written is a “work in progress,” and that future legislative and regulatory fixes will be necessary to address all of the health-care policies that Republicans hope to implement. Sessions had similarly introduced the “World’s Greatest Healthcare Plan of 2016” last year in an effort to partially repeal the ACA.
You can't even satirise it, it's already inherently funny.

By definition around half the population should have double digit IQ. It's a theoretical normal distribution curve centered around IQ100. It's not a threshold of mental retardation.
I'm not saying she's speaking to retards, you've added that.

It just feels like a performance. Probably because of how the American news channels run segments like this.

I think she'd really benefit from a second chair with scripted questions or guidelines to carry something along in a way that felt more natural. The odd comment about the phallic shape of the building, a couple of other flat jokes.

She seems to be very smart and she speaks well at times but I think a soundboard would help. Her weird use of emphasis at times and the ridiculous pauses just make me want to switch off. If the message is truly important it could probably be delivered in a better way.

Not familiar with Circa, but they're reporting no charges are expected regarding to the Trump server as they found no wrongdoing. Says a FISA warrant was granted in October which matches what Heat Street reported.

Also says a lot of the Steele dossier could not be corroborated, but some was verified and other claims were disproved.

US Marines have been deployed on the ground in Raqqa, Syria in the fight against ISIS. Trump's next move after the failed raid, let's hope this one is more successful.

Also....... Maddow has more on Russia tonight. Is she building to something concrete or yet more tentative speculation?

One thing to note is Trumps refusal to get rid of his unsecure Android. He suspects Obama had it bugged, yet refuses to get rid of it.

I bet it's because he is scared of changing phones, he's 70 after all. Working out a new phone to him would be like trying to decipher hieroglyphics.

I avoid her show because of the annoying page turning sound effect that plays as she goes to commercial. I may watch it tonight though.

He could get the same android phone again if hes bothered about that.

I dont get it logically, if he suspects his phone is bugged and spies are monitoring his communications, would the logical thing not be to get rid of the phone if the bugging makes you mad.

I was thinking exactly the same, but it wouldn't be the same, it would need reprogramming and all his contacts, passwords etc. I reckon he has serious OCD and it's a comfort thing.

As for logic, he doesn't do logic, just bullshite, and the phone tapping was just a diversion from Sessions and the Russian story. He doesn't think too far ahead or think things may trip him up because everything he's said or done that has been called out as a lie or he's been caught doing has gone completely unpunished. He got elected despite everything, all the lies, being caught out constantly, the sexism and misogyny, the perverted acts, saying he would feck his own daughter and he would be dating a child in 10 years time, all of it, slagging a gold star family, the Russian connection. He has simply got away with everything, and not only got away with it, was actually rewarded for it, so he clearly think's he's above the law and untouchable, and to be honest, who could blame him really?

I don't know, I haven't seen it yet either, but from what I have seen on Twitter she is just crossing the T's and dotting the I's and has found proof that Russian interference didn't stop after the election. Also it was reported a while ago that the FBI were going to pay Christopher Steele for information, well some reports are saying they actually did pay for his dossier and according to Maddow tonight more and more parts of the dossier are being corroborated and confirmed by various sources. Multiple sources have quoted her as saying "Trump Russia collision looks increasingly likely"

I will post the video as soon as I find it.
