This will be a big big mistake if we let him go there. Big, big mistake!

What are you even on about ? With Rooney leaving and Mata hitting 30s we needed a number 10 who can create chance after chance with the ball at his feet. The team who didn't 'need' Bernardo Silva was City with the abundance of creativity in their team.
Think we were creating chances actually. But not scoring from them. Hence Griezmann as our #10.

I love watching you guys freak out

I don't think he's what United need at all, I think he'd be largely ineffective playing the way you do. He'll be great for City but United can't get every single player on the market

It's a great signing for us. He isn't gonna be expensive though. I guess Mourinho already knew that he was going to City.

He'll be instrumental in helping them break down stubborn defenses.
Can't say anything but a great signing for them.

Why is everyone assuming that he's going to sign for City, or United? As if they're the only two options. FC United of Manchester are going to swoop in and just change his current club in the Football Manager editor.

He's shit anyway.
 He's a good player and great to watch (I have some doubts about his efficacy), but ultimately, there are plenty of players to go around so no sense in having a meltdown over a diminutive 22 year old from a shite league.

The amount of creativity in their midfield is frightening, they'll be scoring for fun next season.
They've always been creative, what they need are goal scorers in midfield since that was their main criticism from last year.
Pep mustn't rate his squad at all, including Jesus we could see 8/9 in his starting 11 that wasn't there before his first transfer window closed.

Don't you think he can be effective getting the ball and feeding Griezmann and Rashford running in behind defenders ?

Ohhhh no...

United need to be prepared cause Bernardo is gonna do some damage at our LB. This is so sad that one of my favourite players nowadays is gonna go to a team i completely dispise under a coach that i dispise too.

Not sure where he fits in to be honest at City.

Great player but not sure it's what they need though.

Unreal how things change so quickly!

24 hours ago there was nothing on him going to City and now this.
It's because nobody cares enough about city to check what they're up to.

Whereas Mourinho could do a fart that sounded like "Griezmann" and it'd be covered on all the front papers in every Country for 2 months solid. And his price would go up 150%

Wow. Well that was unexpected. Really intrigued to see how Pep sees Aguero, Silva, KdB, Sane, Jesus, Sterling and now potentially Silva fitting together. Unless it's for Aguero to move on and Jesus up top? (Selling Aguero would be a mistake in my view)

We're certainly putting to bed the aging squad element of our front line. Same with fullbacks and we're a really settled side again all of a sudden.

Whether it happens, like I said in another thread these kinds of transfers are inevitable. City is a very attractive proposition for players and unfortunately we can sign every player available to stop them going to other clubs. I'd expect City to be looking to spend big money on a couple of other players too, but whether they get big names or not we'll see. As I mentioned earlier it seems Silva was a player we were wishing onto United, rather than a realistic signing. I'd still maintain this notion even if these developments turn out to be false.

Spot on. We need a no 9 since Griezmann is a 10 and his output will replace Ibras, not add to it. As a whole, our side still lacks goals with Silva doesn't provide.
Silva in place of Mata or Mhki actually takes goals out of the team

Would've loved him here. Shite that he's going to city. I would've thought he is the last thing they need as their squad needs a major overhaul.

Why are people freaking out ffs? He looks a great player but a) we can't sign all and aren't only one with big transfer budget b) I would much rather prefer having transfer spending on strikers and couple of CMs only.
Bernardo doesn't seem the type of player we desperately need. Surprise with City move though, more so if it is big money. They already are quite good in attack.

Settled? You're signing an entire side lol, there's nothing settled about it!

Well, it looks like Mendy, Fabinho, Silva and Bakayoko are all on the move. It was previously reported that both Silva and Lemar don't want to leave, because it wouldn't necessarily improve their chances of making the squad of their NT, yet here we are and Silva seems to be moving on.
Silva gone,Bakayoko and Fabinho would be next, other than that i don't see anyone move out.

80m on a player you don't really need.
They are definitely spending above 200m.
