He seems like Vidic-Rio's love child. Don't take me wrong, he's not as great as the two legends just yet. However he seem to have some of Vidic's physicality and committed attitude and some of Rio's elite distribution of the ball.

Bailey and Lindelof partnership is going to be mint, if Jose knows how to do one thing especially well it's how to build a solid defence.

Atleast now when we're playing 6 at the back we'll have more than one player who can pass the ball.

Darmian-Blind-Rojo-Bailly-Lindelof-Valencia
We will not play 6 at the back. We will be quicker in transition.

How highly do you rate him?
I rate him highly. I think he will be a very useful player for United. Playing for Mourinho will make him even better. He will have to improve his aerial game. It's not poor but the Premier League is much more demanding than our league. Good composure (nickname Iceman), decent set pieces taker, can play as right back too, giving more options for the manager. He has decent technic and passing game. He can play in multiple defensive schemes, good reader of the game (controlling the offside trap) and isn't injury prone. With his age, if he adapts to England, having him, Bailly and if Rojo mantains his level, you will have your defensive options sorted for a while.

Nicknamed iceman for his dicipline and cool clean tackles . No fouls and penalties and freekicks near the box

£100k a week? Jesus we pay players who haven't done shit yet way too much.
That was huge money 10 years ago. The salary of top premier league players starts with a 2 at some clubs these days

I have only watched videos of him but I'm optimistic that he'll be a good signing. I have complete faith in Jose, particularly when it comes to buying centre backs and he does look like he has bags of talent.

Tbh I'm glad that we're straying away from any kind of defence featuring Jones and Smalling.

Wasn't too hyped about this due to never having watched him play, but after watching one (1) youtube compilation of him I can safely say that he's a much more exciting signing than M. Keane. :p

Jan Hagen needs to calm down a bit. He's good but he's not Nesta. Saying that he is great at everything isn't objective.

Down with this sort of talk.
I gave my opinion that's he's a very good signing but him saying that he is great at everything is a bit excessive. He has flaws and you know it isn't easy to adapt to England. Playing in Portugal he was succesful but the Premier League is a different world.

Looking at his stats he is not an aerial threat in opposing boxes. I miss that ability since Vidic and Smalling earlier on to be able to grab us an easy goal.
