Shastri is bearable to be honest. I used to hate him but after the latest set of guys I don't think he's that bad
I find Shastri to be very annoying.

Ian Bishop is my favourite. Enjoyed Ponting too. Dislike Warne.

Feel bad for Pakistan, losing to India once is bad enough but to lose to us twice in the same tournament and that too in the finals is going to be brutal

Nah, dont agree. We just destroyed their team in the warm ups with our weak XI. Their seam attack is no where near as good as ours. Bhuvi has been brilliant in all forms over the last year and Bhumra has been one id the best limited over bowlers since his debut.

Bangladesh are a good side. But we're on a completely different planet to them.
You were proven correct, but the toss had huge impact on the way the game developed its narrative

Come on now. We'd have walloped them either way. Their bowling is bang average.
Yes india would still likely have won. I'm just saying that was the only chance of this game being more competitive.

Same will apply for Pakistan in the final.

Non sense. Bangla navigated the tough part earlier on pretty well and then blew it when they were in a good position after 25 overs. No excuse to fold for 260 odd when you are 140 + after 25 overs with only 2 wickets lost.

Great atmosphere at Edgbaston. Sunday should be even better.
The India/Pakistan match is the only India match ive missed live so far, so im quite happy to be able to see the two go at it in the final at Oval.

If India bat second, it'll be a no contest tomorrow I think. Pakistan haven't got the batting line-up or the confidence to put up a big enough score.

Agreed, can't see us losing if we bowl first. They'll either set a below par score or aim too high and feck up massively.

India's batting will be too good whether they bat first or second. Too many good players in form to be restricted to a sub-250 score & we don't have the batting power or mentality to chase/score more than 250 imo.

Pakistan, similar to the England game, have nothing to lose (except pride). Nobody really expects them to win, so we should play without fear. If we're going to lose, at least do it putting up a fight rather than being weak as was the case in the group game.

India really is in a league if their own when it comes to world events. Off the top of my head since the humiliation in the 2007 WC:

2007 WT20 winners
2009 CT group stages
2010 WT20 group stages
2011 WC winners
2012 2nd group stages
2013 CT winners
2014 T20 runners up
2015 WC semi finalists
2016 T20 semi finalists

We are the anti South Africa i.e. non chokers. I expect us to win tomorrow and with ease. Ill be extremely shocked if we dont.

I was reading a few stats - India have 3 batsmen (Dhawan, Rohit, Kohli) in the top 5 scorers list in this tourney while Pakistan have 2/3 bowlers (Hasan, Junaid) in the top 5 wicket takers list. To add to that, Bhuvi, Bumrah have been good and Fakhar, Azhar look in fine touch.

I anticipate a good contest at the very least considering the traditional rivalry we've always had. (though wouldn't mind a repeat of the group game)

This will turnout to be an easiest game we've faced in whole tournament. Can't see anything other then an easy victory for India.

Working in an office of 70% Indians and 30% Pakistanis in Dubai.

The match is going to be screened in our auditorium :nervous:

Nothing to lose for Pakistan really. They have done really well without any luck of any kind. Pressure is on India to not botch this up as the clear favourites.
