Do not want. Perisic is Mourinho style player and perfect to system, like we have heard many times.

RonaldON!!!
Perisic is a winger, Ronaldo is a striker.

We need a striker more than a winger at this moment in time. Perisic isn't too great.

As much as I don't believe this will ever happen, I would fecking LOVE it to!

Zlatan has proven a mid 30's player can do what's needed, and I don't doubt Ronaldo couldn't do the same!

£150 million, 3 year contract he'd certainly be worth the goods! 100 goals in 3 years, we'd be competing at the top which would bring his fee back easy!

#Muppet
Ronaldo would love that. After a year we're be renewing his contract

Shame we aren't still with Nike, they would have had an absolute hard on bringing him back.

Do not want, what would it mean for the development of Harrop, Chong and the youngsters at the club? That's not what United is about. I would literally explode in my own juices if we brought Ronaldo back, I'm ready to let this rumour fully consume me.
I see the white text but Harrop is out of contract and looking to move.

Before weekend is over this topic will beat Perisic 100+ pages. :)

Edit.

So is this the new muppet campsite?
He's not coming back.
After Griezmann, this is only potential true muppet thread. This will reach 100 pages inside next few days. We are so desperate after Griezmann deal collapsed.

My erection is irreversible.

Finally a worthy transfer saga for the summer. The twitter, Morata and perisic threads have been a pale imitation of the glorious days of summers past.

£90m for a 32-year old?
That's the downside of this story. He is still second best if not the best. There is still nobody that knows where the back of the net better than him. Market is so inflated and he brings so much to the table that you can not buy him less than 100 million and that price is totally justifiable in today's market. But, as much as his advantages, we can not ignore the fact that he is 32. Zlatan had an incredible condition but at some point those miles add up and even an incredible body like him can have a potentially career ending injury.

As much as we see his brilliance, Madrid has a core that learned how to exploit his strengths and cover up his weaknesses for years now. I have my doubts he will be the same as machine as he is for Madrid.

And I certainly don't see him leaving to be honest. No one, other than PSG can pay that money anyway.

Oh good, it's going to be fun watching the gullible people get their hopes up and then be left heartbroken.

This summer has been strange. Usually we're linked to so many players but I dunno. It feels like a summer where we could resign Ronaldo. It just feels like a Ronaldo type summer.

Nonchalantly scoring the winner...
Would rather spend 150m on Kane.

Ronaldo had his chance to give us his peak years - when we were a far better team than Real - and he fecked off.

Good luck to him, wish him well, but don't want him back here.

Put the money into players in their peak.

And besides, it's probably just the lowly move of him wanting something out of Madrid (money), and using us in the press to get it. He's done it before, as with Ramos, Fabregas and I can't stand it. Would drive me mad if I was Woodward/José.

Not gonna happen. Some bs story imo.

Even if he leaves Madrid (and that's a big if), he has issues with Mourinho and Mourinho with him.
I don't see him playing for any other english side and I doubt he would go to Serie A. Im guessing PSG or America would be the realistic choices.
Going to America it's pretty much retiring from competitive football and I seriously doubt Ronaldo is already fully satisfied with what he achieved. PSG would be a proper challenge for him CL wise.
Taking in consideration all the options available, he will stay at Madrid.

PS: Taking in consideration the fine he will have to pay, this could be a move to improve his contract to compensate those values.

I'd happily spend £150m bringing Ronaldo back. He would win us the next couple of titles and give us a shot at the CL. It would be worth so much more to Utd in the long run if he could put us back on the map after years in the post-Fergie wilderness.

If he did sign his demands would be astronomical and one of his demands would be to have Fergie to come back, like a proper reunion.

There is no need to worry about the financial aspect of it. We will recover everything just by jersey sales if we sign him. It would be like the biggest return of all time and you just know that it will break all sort of jersey sales records by miles.

I am not saying that there is any chance of it happening, but if Madrid ask 150 million, I would just throw it at them and sign Ronaldo. He will age brilliant and can play till 40 easily if he avoids major injuries. And by major, I mean leg breaks etc. Recovery 150 million spent on Ronaldo is much more easier than recovering 60 million spent on any other player in the world for United..
No we wont. The Kit manufacturers pay a pre negotiated set fee for the rights to sell our shirts. We get no extra if they sell more.

SER reporting that he has not asked to leave. It was good while it lasted.

Kind of like seeing a notification from your ex only to read that she's got a non-molestation order against you.

The complaint that has made the Prosecutor's Office of Madrid for alleged tax fraud of Christian Ronaldo has caused a great discomfort in the player that Real Madrid has known for some time. However, sources of the club consulted by Cadena SER, say that the Portuguese has not communicated his desire to leave this summer, contrary to what the daily newspaper 'A Bola' says Friday.

If we buy him for 150 million pounds - basically we were giving Madrid the privilege to babysit the best player in the world during his peak years for a fee of 70 million pounds. Makes a lot of sense.

What could this mean for our Morata Transfer? IF Ronaldo really left that would mean the possibility of them rebuilding their attack. Or would Real take the risk of just replacing him with Mbappe?

Mourinho and Ronaldo are no longer on speaking terms.

As soon as we hired Mourinho, we kissed goodbye to Ronnie ever coming back (absolutely fine by me). But they fell out at Real Madrid and a lot of bad sentiment has passed between them since.

If Ronaldo's leaving Real - and the story should be believed that he is deeply upset with the club - I can't see him coming here.

I don't even care if this isn't true. This rumour has made my summer. Would love to have Ronaldo back and I don't think he would go to anyone that wasn't United or Sporting Lisbon. It's going to be interesting to see how Madrid handle this and how they cope if he does leave.

He wasn't coming back whatever Jose was here or not. It was just us dreaming about it, nothing else.
