Cant believe I'm saying this but I wouldn't want him back at the price he costs. He has used the club multiple times to get a new contract and he's doing it again.

Plus I wouldn't want to give Real money to buy Mbappé in one full swoop.

This is all hypothetical anyway as he is never leaving Real. He's too expensive for anyone to buy. China now have the 100% tax so that leaves us and PSG. No chance.

Mourinho was invited to Ronaldo's movie premier and they spoke. I think talk of a rift is outdated.
This move won't happen but it won't be because of Mourinho.

I think it's all just bunch of bs but even if it was to actually happen I couldn't care less. The team is stacked and we would get 200 mil € for him. That would mean mean 100 mil € profit on a player that gave his best years to the club.

It would be really bad news for the league in general, there's no denying that.

Would you guys swap De Gea for Ronaldo plus a certain amount of money? Real Madrid will demand huge amounts of money if Ronaldo does infact leave, sums that perhaps not even Manchester United are willing to afford.

I would love to have Ronaldo back at United, but honestly do not think it will happen. Give it a week and he'll announce he's decided to stay as Real Madrid has backed him fully, with a possible new contract on the cards. We'll see.

If its Ronaldo + Donnaruma for De Gea then yes.

Not getting into this at all. He'll stay.

But IF it was true, then I'd welcome him back with ease. You couldn't get a better striker in the market.

If he was available for under £60m, it would be worth it as I think he'd be contributing for 5 more years. But of they want mega mega bucks for him, I Would rather use the those funds to buy Mbappe for ourselves.

I'm torn as he would help deliver immediate Trophies, but the entire team would have to be rewired around his needs.. And that's not what our team needs right now as we go through a rebuild.

I don't think it will happen and thats not a bad thing, so.long as he doesn't join any other PL team.

Cant see him leaving... he is probably upset but Madrid wouldn't let him go for even 100m, even if he is pissed off. Also where would he go? He isnt the type for a lesser league which rules out PSG, would only come to United in the prem but then Mourinho is here so probably would most likely rule us out. Which leaves no other team. So its either he plays for Mourinho again or just sees out his contract at Madrid.

heart says yes but head says no. It's a romantic notion that I don't see coming to fruition and I'd be happy with that.

This is where you hope if Mourinho is willing to let bygones be bygones that maybe Fergie could act as an intermediary and broker a peace. I'm probably optimistic. But, we are talking about bringing back a top 2 player in the world, who can probably stay top 10 for the next 3 years. He also has a drive that is unmatched that would hopefully rub off on some of our younger guys.

He'd cost our whole budget. He wouldn't be nearly as effective here, considering he wouldn't get the service he gets at Madrid, who have the World's best behind him.

If we can get him for a fair price, I'd be delighted, otherwise this would just be another player papering over the cracks. We need to build a proper, functioning team first. Then we can think about adding gloss and glamour.

He would easily go to PSG. Pretty sure he believes he can bring that difference which will push PSG to European eliteness. Not that PSG are a poor side anyway and winning something like the CL will enhance Ronaldo's legacy even more and make him a legend there as well. Plus he will get paid a bomb and will get to play with enough quality players. It won't surprise me if he goes there though staying put in Real once his fannying about ends in a few days is still the best bet.

I was always under the impression that Paul Pogba wouldn't ever return and look how that went. I'm not saying Ronnie will return, I still think it's very unlikely but I wouldn't be at all surprised if he did.

I'm not getting with Margot Robbie either, doesn't mean I haven't fantasized about it.

So until he signs his new contract it's belt unbuckled and full blown muppet mode engaged.
