One can hope, but we're more likelier to get £6/7m for him selling abroad. Yes, he'll turn 30 in November.
Maybe so. Think Jose could manage at least 10m though, he's not such a desperate seller.
Almost 30, he's spent his best years at this club already. It's all downhill from here, time to shift him. :p

His very successful loan spell? He can only be 'ready' if he's given the chance, btw. 'Readiness' is not something that will magically conjure at the start of next season when he's a year older.
He definitely looks ready to me. Oozes class that lad.

That being said, I don't see what he's got to do with any potential Fellaini sale.

We won't be buying two new midfielders. Our targets are one midfielder and one winger and Mourinho has already said he will be happy if we just get one of those.

Plus selling Fellaini would be smart irrespective of our other moves. Pereira is ready to take his place.
Yeah, even if we sell Fellaini I don't think we need two more midfielders since he doesn't really play like one anyway. He's not very useful for squad depth, but rather as a tactical option in certain matches. I can see Pereira making the step up, too.

Would be incredibly stupid to sell him unless we have someone secured. One should be enough but we should be looking at two if possible.

Considering the insanity of the current market, I'm inclined to keep him until a suitable replacement is identified and locked down.

Well with Fellaini his main assets are in his aerial ability and his physicality, which don't go down hill with age. He can perform at a similar level for 3/4 years yet imo. Given his contract situation I'd take £10m, though we need a replacement before we sell.

To me Fellaini is a walking symbol of everything that has been wrong with this club since Fergie left. Would be thrilled to see him leave and be replaced by someone who specialises in more than fouls and slowing down our passing

In favour of this. He's not really at fault, he's just not what we need (or needed). I appreciate Jose trimming the fat, slowly but surely we'll shift lack of quality for quality.

If we are about to sell him then we already have two midfielders lined up, if not it would be criminal mismanagement.

Matic and one more is my guess.

I rather keep Fellanni unless we can get very good fees for selling him. Say what you want about Fellanni. He has proven last season (even seasons before last) to be very useful squad player and provide different dimension to our play.

Last season he was excellent in defending high balls into our penalty area when Jose instructed the team to sit deep. He also controlled and knocked down lots of long balls in attack for our strikers. He scored some important goals as well.

We please don't tease me about this.

This would be more exciting than signing Bale!

Sell!
Miki, Mata and Pereira are good enough.
Just buy a holding midfielder.

Not sure about two, but you'd imagine definitely one.

Would be over the moon if we got rid of this lanky oaf. It'd be another step in the right direction.

A squad player is a symbol of our downfall? Yeah right

In this market the price should be €25m plus. Can't believe we'd let him leave without being confident about signing 2 more players.

Would be perfect if we could get rid of that big lump. Completely not good enough and embodies the sub-standard level of the post-Ferguson United player. In many ways he's the ghost of David Moyes. Please let this be true.

Pogba, Herrera, Perreira (untested), Carrick (36) and Matic (?) would be a bit on the light side for a team at times playing 4-3-3 and competing on all fronts.

You could tell our squad was knackered last season from all the games, and the midfield especially so.

He's played close to 50 matches for us last season, we definitely need at least one more CM if he leaves.

That would be great but I reckon it will be Matic plus the returning Pereira.

We haven't got the Europa League this year though. Would be tight but could be manageable, though another signing would be great.

I always wanted him to leave but when today it might happen, I am not that happy. Maybe because we are already pretty light in midfield and fellaini has his utilities. Don't know how to feel if he does leave.

I'm not sure that Herrera, Pogba, shade of Matic, Carrick's wight, and a pretty untested Pereira would be top four material. If Pereira doesn't cut it in the role then we're left incredibly thin on the ground.

We all love United
Probably Axel will be shifted to midfield as another option. He played there a few times last season and looked very decent, the passing and composure are there to see
