There's a bit of a first touch of a women after years in a monsetry vibe in here, it was a decent performance, especially the last 25 minutes where we finished them off despite it including the negative Fellaini sub. Pleased to see Martial take his chance when he came on and Matic had a good game, as did Jones.

Can't stop grinning from ear to ear and I'm gulping down beer so quickly that getting up for work in the morning is going to take a lot of willpower. What a performance!

Sign of 06/07

Sign of Jose's 2nd season

Sign of Jose "strong spine". DDG, Bailly, Matic, , Herrera, Pogba, Lukaku (Cech, Terry, Carvalho, Makelele, Essien, Lampard, Drogba)

What more can you ask for......

Now get Griezmann and we are ready for CL

Scores a goal, is involved in another, and creates several giant chances with sublime passing, is defensively solid and runs his socks off, yet it's not enough. The man can't win. Pogba was, together with Matic, excellent today.
You are reading too much into it. He was good, had control of the midfield with Matic, but on many occasions he could have played a smart pass to someone in a good position, but he was caught with the ball. The ball does move faster than the players and we would benefit immensely if he played the ball more often.

Its good so far, we will see

But? The doubts I have had is tempo, style of play, lack of goals and creativity, if we don't look to solve those problems evolve has a footbal unite I did not think Mourinho would win a PL title has a united manager if he did not look to solve these pressing issues and problems. It was nice in this game that not only did we score goals, we created missed chances but scored plenty. The poor excuse that has been going around in the forums last season is chances missed, footballers are human, they will miss chances, that is how it is it happened at the peak of fergie's great sides. Top football sides keep creating chances and they will miss chances, but sooner or later persistence pays off and that is what happened today.

What I have liked, is? players like pogba the anchor has the worlds most expensive footballer is gone, neymar gaining that title has taken the eye off pogba's price tag, because he knows he is just one of many expensive players has he knows the market is now insane, allot of players will surpass pogba at that price. Pogba is enjoying not being the worlds most expensive player and having matic next to him, so the anchor man is there besides with pace going forward.

If we play good tempo, play with no fear, we have a chance. Yes we will have to work to score goals, but the tempo, looking like a side who will score goals, showing different traits has a title contender, where in many games will will our bread and butter games, grind out results sometimes, go into the big games where they have to fear us, some games where its tight, but we got to show never do we look like the inferior team that when there is nothing in it we have the quality to win. These traits we have to pick up if we are to win this title, but the main one is looking like a team who is ruthless but creates and scores goals, we do that we have all capability's to win the PL

Was concerned up to the first half-hour that there was not much linking up between our attacker and especially Lukaku was not getting enough ball. Then something happened and we started to play like the Man Utd of old. As someone said, we are back. What a spine, De Gea, Bailly, Jones, Matic, Pogba, Mikhi and Lukaku. Rashford grew into the game and Martial looks like he is back as well.
Another concern was that we did not score enough goals. Well that was clearly addressed.
All in all truly enjoyable match and thanks Chelsea indirectly and directly for Jose, Matic and Lukaku.
Keep on feeding Lukaku.

Does Cundy still do a knot wider than his head in his ties?
Cundy is a despicable human being if I'm honest. Feel like hurting my radio (mobile phone) when he speaks.

There is but it's our biggest win in three years, so understandable that there's some pent up frustrations.

Moving this here as I'm still learning my way around the forums.

My thoughts (for what they're worth). Please bear with me...
  • Jones - exceeded my expectations. Solid in the middle, didn't get beat. All I could ask.
  • Blind - the next cross he completes would be his first. Why is he the LH's side corner kick specialist is beyond me.
  • Pogba - his individual skills and play making ability is like watching a point guard break your ankles and land your ass on the hardwood. I get a hard on when I think what he'd do going forward while Matic handles the dirty work.
  • Matic - absolutely dominant, showed fantastic movement, dribbling and pace. Making a world of difference already. I think Carrick may as well start a knitting gig while on the bench.
  • Mata - no frills football here. Couple brilliant passes a game and everything else is spoken for. Understand why he plays and why he's needed, just wished he was slightly more assertive (also understand that's not the player he is, so feck it).
  • Mkhitaryan - not sure how to evaluate Mkhi. He does a lot of things well, particularly passing, and his work rate is fantastic. Seems to me he is a lot like a jack of all trades and master of none. He'll get more goals this year, but I prefer he continues with his mastery passing.
  • Lukaku - man of the match. The Von Miller of the BPL. His mere presence in the box should make opposing center back's children run and hide in their closets.
  • Rashford - as expected, great pace and individual skills in the final third. Once he tidies up his finishing skills, he'll in every right back's nightmares for years to come.
Top of the league motherfeckers. Time to crack a few open and enjoy this one.

Now why is he a despicable human being?
Because he has no class at all. He is one person that is constantly on the wum, and when I say wum I mean wum. It doesn't matter that you understand it is a wum, he will still wind you up.

Pogba was good today. His execution on a handful of penetrating passes were off. Most of them were to hard and the receiving player had no chance. If he cleans that up he will be very good.

Great all round performance.

Cant really fault anyone really.

Matic was phenomenal and with todays result I feel sorry for Herrera whos gonna struggle to get into this starting 11.

I can only really see Mata & Miki's position interchangeable as Jones looked really solid at CB aswell.

Well done lads!

He works for Chelsea TV doesn't he? What do you expect? He's a chav. An unhappy one I wager at the moment.
