All peripherical leagues are "damaged" by the money injection from the tycoons who bought clubs all over Europe, not only a problem from the portuguese league. As I said, we are mainly used as a showcase so the tycoon owned clubs come and get the players for overpriced values, where probably 40-50% of that transfer is divided by agent fees, lawyer fees, etc, etc
It doesn't mean the leagues can't still have quality. The problem is that most of those players that come from some sources will play, no mather what
In my opinion, the portuguese league has some nice games to watch. Braga, Rio Ave and Guimarães usually display good football to watch, even though Guimarães are in a bad form at the moment.
Sporting will probably be a good club to watch for the neutrals, since Jorge Jesus likes to implement a high pace + high pressure system, who eventually breaks the players stamina at long term in the season.
