Anyone noticed when Kyrie score the first basket, the 2 points were added to the Cavs, lasted like a second or two :)
Yh then they had Boston up 6-0 for some reason. Scorekeeper is clearly drunk.

Damn if Rose didnt have those two injuries he would have been up there with the greatest point guards of all time. Such an explosive player. Unguardable at times.

Yep. During his peak years, he was probably, for me, the most exciting player in the league. Had the explosiveness of LBJ/Westbrook but the agility/quickness of AI/Kylie. The shots he would make were insane.

Big shame about Hayward, hope he comes back the same player. The East, if it wasn’t a foregone conclusion already, now is.

I've already switched to the baseball. Hopefully no-one gets hurt in the late game. Cavs do look better with the smaller lineup though.

Yankees ended up winning, watching Cubs-Dodgers now though I've switched back. Boston seems to be making a game of it. Lebron with 3 fouls now. I know it's the first game but some of the defense already has been atrocious.

What an awful, awful opening night! Hope Gordon Hayward can get back on the court ASAP. Had been looking forward to this day for months and then this.........

As to the Dubs, sorry they lost and all that but inconsequential compared to what happened in Cleveland. Get well soon Gordon and all that.

It's one of the worst injuries I have seen in top level sports, considering the circumstances it's probably the worst. The reaction of Cavs bench and all players on the court as well as the complete silence in the arena tells you all you need to know, it was just cruel.

Hopefully GH can get back to top form next season but after injury like this you never know. For now it's more important for him to have a successful recovery and be able to walk again. Truly devastating turn of events, you could not write it any worse.

Absolutely praying for him to have a speedy recovery. Awful, awful stuff.

Apparently the initial scans suggest that it's a clean leg break with no ligament damage, which is possibly a positive news for the situation.

Fultz's free throws are atrocious.
I came in here to post that  They're really incredibly bad. I think most casual basketball players have a better free throw motion than him. He's only 19 though, so hopefully it can be fixed over time.

So these NBA drafts just get straight into the starting XI typically?
Saw it with that Boston chap yesterday too - interesting.

The high draft picks usually do. Especially since the teams getting the high draft picks are bad to begin with.

He;s going to have to or teams are just going to be fouling him every time he goes to the basket.

Depends on the teams needs really. You'll find some will go right into the starting 5 whereas others are more of a project like the Knicks and the Kings latest draft picks.

Jeremy Lin done for the season as well.
Wow, two big names already. Hopefully the NBA doesn't follow the NFL's lead with everyone getting injured. Less minutes, more playing time for the bench is the only cure imo.
