When we lose, do you fill in the player performance thingy?

I realise I leave it blank for days, or ignore it entirely as if in some sort of denial.

Do you fill it in with a clear head, or with emotions from the game still attached?

Do you fill it in at all?

Yes, I fill it in. Not always straight after the game, but I do eventually fill it in.

I think it's good to give yourself some time, though, especially after a loss. Some people go a bit mad, and end up rating players 1 or 2.

This thread reminded me to fill it in.

Three players got a 1 this week. I think that's a record

I usually give them my version of the hairdryer, in giving them lower scores than they probably deserve.
Only the subs (if any) escapes my wrath :)

I normally fill it in straight after a game but I don’t normally get absoulutly disgusted with performances that I would go crazy.
I’ve always wondered how people score it tho. I normally start everyone on a 5 and it either goes up or down on how I viewed that performance.

Fill it with a clear head after an hour or two. Although I pretty much never give a player lower than 5, maybe only once or twice.

5 is already crap in my opinion. Don't know what 1 or 2 is. Lindelof maybe 2 last time with Lovren comedy show as an example of 1 I guess?

I always fill but I murder the team in it.

I was surprised to found people giving this Huddersfield game 4.4. Guess what I gave the team 2.9 only. Lots of "1" given to many players.

I usually don't, but had to give Lindelof 1/10 last week which was the lowest rating I've ever given anyone before.

I tried giving him 0 but it didn't let me.

Usually fill it in straight after the game while performances are still fresh in the memory.

I only sometimes fill it in win or lose.

I do hammer the ones I think are most culpable when we lose though.

Providing I've seen the game yes I fill it in regardless of the result (obviously I don't if I've only seen highlights)

Amazingly for most of last season though my highest rated game was the 0-0 v Liverpool lol

This is the problem! 5 is average...5 is not really doing anything bad or good. Rooney had some 1s. Mhki's has had some sure fire 2/3s lately.
This is cereal!

I always do. Mostly for my own reference, later on. I don't really watch the average ratings, as everyone has his own scale.

I usually do it about an hour after the game though. I don't usually linger on the Caf right after a loss, as I'm in a bitter mood and try to distract myself.

Yep this applies to me, most of my ratings are 8 or something. I’m in total denial, and only pick a POTM to see what others picked.

 Don't lose your shit over my ratings, eventually, they won't do any harm to the whole system. And wtf is cereal?

I think it's mostly from the papers, as they often don't go below 5.

So in my book: 5 - crap, 6 - solid, 7 - good, 8 - very good, 9 - excellent. It has to be some serious crap to go under 5.

Damn you for going so deep into this before my bedtime!

Am I the only one who's probably never used this ratings system more than once?

Deservedly after Huddersfield. Some of them didn't deserve a rating.

Reckon 5-crap to 6-solid is too big a jump. There's definitely some in-between. 5 would be a below average game and then 4 and below crap. Your 1s and 2s reserved for the Rooney horror shows (and Lindelof yesterday).

My scale seems to be a bit generous compared to average on here:

1. Ali Dia
2. Atrocious
3. Very poor
4. Poor
5. Below average
6. Average
7. Good
8. Very good
9. World class
10. Other worldly

I don't think I've done it since Van Gaal went. I tended to do it straight after a game though, so probably kneejerked a lot.

I do sometimes kneejerk (like giving all 10s after Ajax, or all 1s after MK Dons), but try to be balanced most of the time in the aftermath.

I cba doing them tbh. I realised I didn't notice half the players on the pitch anyway, so there was no point me rating them.

Don't do the predictions but do fill these in - apart from when we are so dull I haven't paid enough attention to individual performances (Liverpool away). Which is probably why my average is more generous.
