This is the Premier League with a much wider audience. It's not acceptable for kids to be watching players do these type of things.
It's all for show. Little Allen held his own v fat Deeny.
It’s pretty easy to hold your own in a football scuffle as neither of them would be willing to throw a punch. It’s just pushing and looking angry most of the time.

Is it bad that i thought the title was 'Alien incident' since Troy Deeney looks like an alien?

To be fair it's Allen that initiates the squaring up and the aggressiveness, Deeney just controls the situation and makes Allen look like an idiot. Fair play

Deeney would have absolutely destroyed him
A footballer with the ability to destroy someone! Only in their own little worlds is something like that possible, gentle little flowers that they are!

Hilarious title!

So this explains how footballers get their footballing middle names. Still can't find how Gerrard got the "me". Selfishness?

Someone updated Deeney's page on Wiki:

On 25 June 2012, Deeney was sentenced to ten months' imprisonment for kicking a man in the head during a brawl and repeatedly bummed in prison

:lol::lol::lol:

All these people brushing it off as nothing...are you actually capable of seeing?

He clearly claws his thumb into the guys face. Which is a bizarre thing to do but he deserves a 3 match ban for it. It's really weird, aggressive behaviour and judging by the maniacal look on his face, he clearly meant it.

Some weird responses here

Strange situation, didn't see much wrong to spark any sort of confrontation, then it's almost like he's trying to force Allen to smile. Then Allen appears to switch just before the end and start laughing about it as well. Weird.

fecking psycho though.

Should really be a ban for both players, they were as bad as each other, Allen over reacts and possibly attempts a punch to Deeny's guts, then it all gets a tad bizarre. Not sure why Deeney is singled out for the blame? Just because he's bigger and stronger?

Deeney's own son doesn't even support Watford. He was probably screaming at the telly for Allen to lamp dad.

What Deeney did was a bit more than the usual push and shove, but he actually pushed Allan away, only for Allan to go back into him again and carry it all on.

Silly behaviour by both.

What a thug.

It genuinely baffled me why everyone was in adulation at him going 'hurr durr, me strong man, Arsenal weak' on live TV after they beat Arsenal.
Football fans are a weird bunch. They'll take the side of any piece of human garbage if it means having a laugh at the expense of their rivals.

I hold him in the same regard as I did Joey Barton.

Wannabe tough guys. Make up for a lack of talent by trying to be intimidating.

Joey Barton was a cnut, the 2 are not comparable. Throwing your weight around on the pitch doesn't equate to attacking you team mates by stubbing a cigar out in his eye, or assaulting team mates and the general public whilst out on the pish.

Deeney went to prison for breaking a student's jaw (by kicking him in the face whilst he was lying on the ground). They're both cnuts.

Exactly.

The thug can't contain himself. 5 match ban should be given without two thoughts.

Nonchalantly scoring the winner...
Deeney actually looked slightly scared to me, his laugh looked nervous and edgy. Probably shocked that Allen clearly wasn't scared of him in the slightest.

Allen's reaction indicates a bit of a game cnut - please note, I'm not saying 'short man syndrome', it's perfectly possible for a man of any height to be a hard fecker/aggressive!

You just never know, off the pitch Allen could've headbutted him or punched him square on the chin - but on the pitch it's always just a wrestling match which does favour the taller lad.

Yes he indeed did, but as it was 5 over years ago and he since stated that 'it was the best thing that happened to him'.
Where as Barton has had continual issues for well over a decade.

He's way more talented than you and would probably intimidate the crap out of you in all fairness

If he thinks breaking someone’s jaw was the best thing that’s happened to him then I’d say he’s still a bit of a dick.
