I think they played Kante further forward in one half and then Fabregas further forward in the other. Bakayoko was never alone.

That sounds like how it works in a 3-5-2. One midfielder goes forward at one time and the other at another time. But I think Kante was more b2b in that game, just like against Chelsea.

3-4-1-2 makes no sense to me. I don't think they've ever played it this season.
