Thrilling game. We are struggling offensively as there’s no cohesion between our attackers. Lack of chances a real concern. Wonder if we’ll begin to shut up shop if nothing changes.

Trouble is Hazard has runners and 3/4 people ahead of him where as Mkhi has a wall of blue and Rashford and Lukaku miles off.
Good playmakers can find the space to work in. Thats the difference, Mkhi isnt a good playmaker and cant find space

We are lacking any sort of cohesion in the final third.
Got to be the coaching I think. Jose needs to spend some time on that, or swallow his pride and add an attacking coach to his team. If SAF can be flexible, so can Jose.

Game exactly on the expected lines. Fellaini to come late on and get the winner. You heard it here first!

With Herrera and Mikhi playing we're definitely not a good team in keeping the ball on the ground and possess the match.

Time to play with our strength, put Fellaini instead of Mikhi, make both Matic and Herrera DMFs with Fellaini pushed forward and play long balls. We'll have better chance to win with this.

Who would have thought this game needed Martial’s close control and ability. Doesn’t take a genius... get him on.

Fellaini for Mkhitaryan please, getting overrun in midfield

Keep it 0-0 for Martial to come on and win it

Attitude is decent but the general standard of our play is pretty abysmal, no sort of combinations or interplay and no player that looks like they can create something, pretty frustrating to be honest.

Lukaku needs to impose himself more. You look at how morata is making himself a nuisance and Lukaku has been poor in comparison.
Dont agree. Moratta looks 'lite' against a top defense like ours, no matter how much he buzzes around.

Have a feeling that valencia is now getting overweight, today he's looking too bulky.

Good game overall. Chelsea are playing well and so does we. Struggle a bit going forward though, but Chelsea also defend well.

Fellaini on to solidify the middle against Cesc/Bakayoko/Hazard. Mkhitaryan is a waste of space when he’s in this sort of form. I’d honestly rather have Rooney.

Cagey match as expected. Just disappointed that Herrera and Mkhitaryan arent creating any half decent moves in midfield. I get that they are being closed down very quickly and dont have many options up top, but you just compare them to hazard and its day and night the technique and vision.

We seriously need to get rid of this 3 at the back rubbish once Fellaini (fully fit) and/or Pogba come back. Which im sure we will. Its just that Jose feels he doesnt have a third midfielder to play in the middle and cant trust Mctominay yet.

Chelsea are holding pretty well for a team in crisis.

I think this one is clearly on that players. The difference has been the difference in quality of Hazard, Morata and Fabregas. Whereas for us Lukaku hasn't been good. Rashford is trying. And Mkhi has been poor again.

Bailly has been good. As has been Matic (again) and Young. Smalling was decent as well I think. Everyone else was a bit me. Herrera, Val and Mkhi were especially shit.

Lukaku and Rashford have no semblance of a partnership when playing together. Hard to ignore especially because Martial links up so much better with both of them then either of them do with each other. Whenever they play together, there is very little interplay between them and pretty much just forcing things. Put someone on who can actually link things together up top and keep the ball, dribble past opponents.

Are we even trying to win this game? Even Burnley attacked Chelsea more than this. I don't want to see Herrera again when Pogba and Fellaini return. No composure with the ball.

Fellaini and Martial on for Mkhitaryan and Rashford what I expect and I also think it is the right moves. We can play a bit more direct with Fellaini and Martial can be dangerous against tired legs.
