He's been given the opportunity and failed completely.

He put in several awful performances in a row, and it has become obvious that he was carried by Pogba's presence in midfield.

A midfield of Matic-Hererra is a good platform for a no.10 to perform but he didnt perform.

The same could be said for many players. The attacking onus doesnt lie on Mkhi alone.

To say that he was carried by pogba is a massive overstatement. The entire team suffered due to pogba and even fellaini's absence. Maybe too much responsibility was placed on Mkhi's shoulders as a result.

Hes not at the same level as pogba clearly. But people are being fickle. Hes still one of our best players. Now that we are at full strength its the right time to use him again IMO.
