Death or the gladioli!
Penalty wouldn't have been harsh
"Blatant"It won't be appealed. It's a blatant red.
Again, it doesn't matter if it's accidental (which I don't think it was). People seem to be unaware of the rules of dangerous and reckless play. And they'd be dumbasses, which most people are.
Here is why I don't think it's a clear red. Pogba was mid stride when Bellerin slide under him. There was literally nothing Pogba could do to avoid it. It's like, you're at a gun range, and someone jumps in front of your bullet. Are you culpable for suicidal behavior?
I don't know if its a red or not, I do know if you say it's 100% no questions a red, then you lack the ability to grasp the nuance of situations. There are things called mitigating circumstances. When someone slides under your foot while you are literally mid stride, and you're not out of control, you're not making a challenge and you trod on them, is that a red card? Are you sure?
I'd agree if Pogba happened to whip out his air rifle to take a pot shot at Bellerin's hammy."Those men were just standing in the way of my bullets is all."
I don’t.Welbz is a fecking cnut, why do our fans like him.
"Because Bellerin could have made up the ground with his pace" apparently. Now refs compute individual pace apparently, while ignoring that he may have made it up because the whole manhandling allowed him to get back with a chance. How is that not last man?
It can but it probably won't be and even if it is it'll be rejected. It can be appealed
He went studs up to reach for the ball, accidental is my biased conclusion. It doesn't matter if you disagree. Those are the rules. Going in with studs on a player is dangerous play.
"Last man" is not a thing. Was he denied a "clear goalscoring opportunity"? Perhaps but he was barely in their half. How is not that a red -last man - freaking commentary saying that Bellerin with his pace would have been there. Just a joke of a ref. Not saying that Pogba’s red was not the right call but shocking. At least he made up for it on the pen call.
