    Neutral's would have loved watching that game. We really didn't deserve anything from this game, and the score flatters us greatly. DDG really is the only reason we got out of today with three points.
    Lol whut? We don’t deserved it? :lol::lol:

    We defended well today and great counter attack from us

    There's only one United!

    With all due respect:

    we went to the Emirates and hit them twice in the first 10 minutes;
    we played an intelligent counter-attacking game because Arsenal play kamikaze football;
    they scored and they STILL played kamikaze football;
    and we hit them again and could have hit them at 2-1 too - they were lucky we hit the post;
    we scored and had Pogba sent of (only downside of the game);
    We rode our luck and DDG was good too but that's all in this type of game.

    Enjoy it - we got three points from the Emirates.

    The City game will be massive. Without Pogba we can be massive underdogs. Hope we can use that. Herrera need to find top form again and press well. I would probably drop Rojo although he did better in the last 20 minutes. Just feel he will give away a penalty with a biased ref that helps City out.

    I think we were carried over the line by the positvity of our supporters...

    We didn't 'struggle' to stop them from scoring. We stopped them from scoring more than one goal. We scored three, by the way.
    I would say we struggled to stop them. They just mentioned that DDG made the equal most saves in a game for the premier league or something like that. When your keeper is forced to do that, and considering the quality of most of them, I find it hard to consider we were comfortable at all.

    Expected performance from United, I knew our record at home was a sham. First decent side and we'd lose.

    Saying that, if United play like this against City and give them this much space and chances they'll batter you. We simply don't have their level of quality to punish you and De Gea won't pull out such an immense performance everytime.

    And also for those who compared DDG to Ederson lol

    Our keeper is there to prevent goals. That's his job. It's like criticising Arsenal because Lacazette scored for them.

    Also, we had a man sent off.

    Don't agree that we struggled. That was the game plan. We scored 3 times away at arsenal! More like they struggled against the way we set our stall out. Well done united!

    I don't mean to sound unhappy becuse I'm ecstatic with the result. But I think we showed some serious defensive frailties. Even with a 5 man defense (or more at points) they regularly cut through us too easily and the defense seemed to give them the ball back nearly every time they won it. We need to be better against City at keeping the ball or they will rip us apart, make no mistake.

    I think you havent been following my recent posts on his importance as a squad player but maybe you dint read them. Still i did not know my opinion mattered to you so much. Thanks for the satisfaction. Good night.
    Fair enough

    I barely ever read much of the footy forums these days. If you accept you were wrong I will never mention it again

    United have now scored more goals against Arsenal (345) than any other opponent ever.

    Shit just saw pogba’s red card and for me is not even a fault, nothing he could do when the other player had the leg the way he had.
    This seems to have polarised people, even ex pro's and pundits can't decide if it was a red or not. Personally, I think it's a yellow, don't know what else Pogba could have done in a game like this where he's stretching for the ball and Bellerin lie's down underneath him.
